Your POV

One word: cookies. That's usually all I saw on my arm. I could tell from day one that my soulmate loved cookies just from the amount of cookies they drew daily. It reminded me of Thayne Jasperson from Hamilton, in which actually, (B/F/N) managed to get tickets to for a show tonight.

But yes, the cookies did remind me of Thayne. Every Hamilton fan knew how much Thayne loved his cookies. Maybe my soulmate just really liked cookies like Thayne, maybe they were a fan of  Thayne. A small voice in my head even said, 'maybe your soulmate is Thayne,' but I just scoffed at that voice. How the hell would someone as awesome as Thayne Jasperson be my soulmate (dayum reader-chan you are honestly very oblivious in these oneshots)?

Now however, (B/F/N) and I were walking down to the Richard Rodgers, discussing how the cookies on my arm would always disappear for like two hours sometimes and then come back. We both agreed it was weird.

We sat down in our seats, which were a couple rows away from the stage. We had a really good view. (B/F/N) looked at me, her eyes, sparkling with excitement. "I'm so excited!"

I nodded my head, my (E/C) eyes sparkling as well. "Me too! This is so exciting!"

(B/F/N) nodded. "It's gonna get even more exciting, (N/N)."

I cocked my head. "What? How?"

(F/N) looked at me innocently, yet behind her innocent eyes I saw a glint of what looked like accomplishment. "Well... we may or may not be meeting the cast after this..."

I gaped at her. "(F/N/N) (best friend's nickname)... you didn't.."

Her innocent facade vanished and she smirked. "Oh I did, (N/N)."

I almost jumped out of my seat. "I can't believe it!"

(B/F/N) was about to comment when the lights faded and a familiar riff started, followed by Leslie's voice.

"How does a bastard, orphan, son of a wh*re..."

~ a couple songs in ~

We were currently on "Farmer Refuted". I couldn't help but smile widely watching Thayne and Lin up on stage. That's when Thayne made eye contact with me, and I could see he was trying not to smile. (B/F/N) took notice and grabbed my arm. "(N/N) he's so into you! I can tell!" she whisper-shouted. I smacked her arm gently. "Thayne Jasperson? Into me? Girl you crazy!" I replied. She only grinned before we continued watching the show.

~ after the show! ~

(B/F/N) had my hand and was practically dragging me backstage, both of us giggling like high school girls all over again. (B/F/N) mostly wanted to meet either Lin or Groff, while I wanted to meet Thayne of course.

When we got backstage, there was a small amount of people, probably because we pretty much ran there. All of the cast was there, with the exception of some of the ensemble dancers I believe. I spotted Thayne, and got an idea. "It's Samuel Seabury!" I called out in the best English accent I could (unless of course you already got one in which case no problems here!). Thayne turned his head in my direction.

(B/F/N) snickered. "Have fun with him, I'm telling you he's--" she trailed off when she saw Groff. (B/F/N) squealed so loud I thought she could break the sound barrier. She apologized to me before running across the room to Groff, who coincidentally enough was talking to Lin, her pamphlet already out and ready to be signed.

I looked back at Thayne, who was still looking for the one who pointed him out. I grinned. "Hear ye! Hear ye!" I called again as I went over to him. A smile crossed his face. "So it was you!"

I nodded, grabbing my pamphlet. As I pulled it out and Thayne got a Sharpie ready, I couldn't help but notice the small cookie drawing on his wrist. When I pulled out my pamphlet, I saw the cookie that was on my wrist the whole day. I can't believe (B/F/N) was right.

It didn't take Thayne long to notice the cookie on my wrist. He looked from the cookie on his wrist, to mine. His, mine, his, mine. He threw his arms up in the air triumphantly. "It took long enough!" I laughed.

"(Y/N) (L/N)," I said, introducing myself (but reader-chan you need no introduction... wait that's Hercules... riiiight). "I can't believe my soulmate is the cookie monster himself."

Thayne laughed, finally signing my pamphlet. "Meet me here after you get all the signatures!" He said. I grinned and nodded, moving onto the next person, who happened to be Sasha.

The human cookie monster was actually my soulmate. Who knew your best friend could guess who your soulmate was, and get it right? I wasn't complaining.
