Lin's POV

"...don't look."

"We just got our five minute call and he's just not in costume yet," I explained to the camera.

"I'm about to be. Are you mad at me?" Groff asked, rubbing his arm and looking at me.

I snickered. "I could never be mad at you."

I looked at Groff. "The internet told me to give this to you for your birthday!"

With that, I pushed him off-screen, into a kiss. (Y/N), who was helping us film, was having a giggle fit. "O-okay! Stop making out now!" she exclaimed in-between laughs, stopping the video.

I backed away from Groff, a faint pink tint rising to my cheeks. "That wasn't making out!"

"Yes it was! You're lucky the camera wasn't panned on you lovebirds."

"Welp, there's one for the fans," Groff said.

(Y/N) snickered. "Yep. I'll see you guys later, need to start warming up for our show tonight."(idk just work with me) She waved goodbye as she turned and hurried out of the room.

Groff turned to me, a sparkle in his eyes (like oml it took me like ten minutes to actually try and figure out his eye color. it's like this blue-gray color I think, but whatever it is it's f*cKIN GORGEOUS AS ALL HELL). Well that was.. eventful?"

I chuckled. "Definitely."

That was when I realized, deep down, that I had fallen hard for none other than Jonathan Groff.

That brought time to now, one year later. Groff's birthday yet again. I currently had out my camera, taking a video with only a little idea of what Groff had planned. He never specified what he'd do, but whatever it was, I'm pretty sure it'd be a bit different this time around...

"So, it's Groff week!" I exclaimed to the camera.

"Whaaat?!" Groff responded.

"So, happy birthday. I know I got you a good present last year. We're not topping that," I spoke, looking at him. Both of us smiled at each other and I turned back to the camera.

"Anyway, good luck with the lotto." The last word word barely exited my mouth as Groff leaned forward and quickly pressed his lips to mine. Realizing what was happening after a moment, I ended the video. We pulled apart after there was a squeak and a familiar voice.

"Kiss, kiss, fall in love!" (Y/N) chanted excitedly.

I couldn't help but almost face palm, and I chuckled. Groff laughed as well. "You can't say that if we're already in-love!" he replied.

"Well that gives me an interesting idea... Lin! Can you send me that video? I have the perfect idea, if you don't mind..." she quickly explained to me.

I nodded. "Sure! Let's see how the fans react to this..."

"Aaaand, done!" (Y/N) spoke, handing me her phone. It was the video of us, and I scrolled down to the caption, Groff reading as well.

(Y/I/N) Today isn't just Groffday, you guys! It's 'Groff week'! Not only can you see Groff take over our #Ham4Hams, but take this little video Lin took as well. First canon kiss on camera? You know it~

I chuckled at her last two sentences, handing (Y/N) her phone. "Bless you for knowing whatever 'canon' means. I'm no good with the words kids use today." (think of Y/N as Anthony's age, around 24 or 25)

Both of them laughed, and (Y/N) spoke up. "Yep. It's only a matter of time though before-- never mind. Theeeere we go."

I glanced over at (Y/N)'s phone, seeing it explode with notifications. I looked at Groff and we both smiled sheepishly.

Wonder how the rest of the world will react... I wasn't worried about it though. Who cares what other people's negatives reactions were, right?
