Peter waited outside of Noah's school's office. He rocked a bit on his feet as he waited for Noah to come down from his classroom and to the front off. Peter looked down at his watch, but his attention was quickly taken away from the time when he heard Noah say his name.

"Peter?" He questioned.

"Hey, Noah!" Peter smiled. Noah looked at Peter confused. He had no idea why Peter was there and not at the hospital with his mother, but then he realized that the baby must've been born.

"She's here?" He asked, his voice quiet.

"Yeah, you have a beautiful baby sister. And now you and I are going up to the hospital so you can meet her." Peter smiled.

"This is awesome!" Noah exclaimed, as he quickly hugged Peter's legs, before grabbing his hand and started to pull him from the school.

"Do you even want to know her name or see a picture of her?" Peter asked, and Noah nodded.

"Later, Peter! We need to get to the hospital now so I can meet her and tell her that I'm her big brother!" Noah exclaimed, which made Peter laugh.

"Alright, little man. Are you okay if I drive?" Peter teased.

---

Noah saw his baby sister for the first time and he started to cry. Olivia was asleep in her bed, and she didn't notice that her boyfriend and son had arrived.

"Peter," Noah whispered, as he wiped tears from his cheeks.

"Yeah, Noah?" Peter replied.

"Is that her name?" Noah asked, as he pointed at the card that said Hadley's full name.

"Yeah, do you like it? Your Momma loves the name Hadley." Peter replied.

"She's so pretty, and of course I like the name. She's my baby sister and I think everything about her is perfect." Noah spoke, before going to reach his hand in and gently touch his sister's hand, but then he ran over to the bathroom and washed his hands.

When he ran back, Peter smiled.

"Smart kid. Now, are you ready to hold her?"

"I can hold her?" Noah breathed.

"You can hold her, Noah." Olivia's hoarse voice spoke. Noah turned around and smiled at his mother.

"Can I sit with you and hold her? I don't want to hurt her." Noah whispered.

"Yeah, come here, darling." Olivia smiled. She pushed herself up and Noah ran over to her and sat down beside her. Peter carried his daughter over to Olivia and Noah, before laying her gently in Noah's arms. He watched as Noah gently ran his fingers over Hadley's hair, before leaning down and kissing her forehead softly.

"Momma always kisses my forehead, Hadley. It makes me feel so happy and I know Momma really loves me when she does that. So I hope you know that I really love you too. I've waited so long to be your big brother, and I'm so excited that you are finally here and out of Momma's belly." Noah whispered. He was trying to just say it to his sister, but Olivia and Peter heard it too.

Any doubts that they might have kept to themselves had faded away, and they knew that they were going to be happy. It may be hard having a newborn and a 6-year-old to balance, but they knew they'd be able to do it together.

---

Olivia promised Peter that she and their daughter were going to be okay for a few hours. So Peter took Noah home and they both did stuff that was left undone when Olivia went into labor, and Noah also worked on his homework.

Peter cleaned up the kitchen and went and did some laundry. He packed up some extra clothes for Olivia, and he grabbed a few of the more girlier outfits they got just because Noah insisted that the baby was a girl. As Peter was packing up, Noah came into the nursery.

"Peter?" Noah asked, and Peter nodded.

"Yes?"

"Yesterday... before I left the hospital you told me that you loved me..." Noah breathed. He was nervous about talking about it because he didn't want to get his hopes up again. When Olivia first told Noah about the baby and about Peter, Noah couldn't help but think that he was finally going to get a father. He was so excited to have someone to play video games with and play catch. Noah loved his mother so much, but it just wasn't the same as having a real guy in the house to be his father.

"Oh." Peter breathed.

"Do you still love me?" Noah asked, as he walked over to the closet and opened it. He grabbed a stuffed animal that they had also bought, and walked back over and put it in the bag.

"Bud, I know that it was out of the blue, but Noah, you are pretty much my son... I was a very bad person before because I hurt you and your mother, but I've changed. I know that I want a family, but most importantly I want this family. So yeah, I love you, Noah. You are a great kid, already an amazing big brother, and I'd be okay with it if you wanted to start calling me Dad..." Peter spoke. Noah smiled a bit before hugging Peter again.

"This is really the best day ever." Noah grinned. Peter ruffled Noah's curls before letting out a sigh of relief.

Now he has two kids with the most amazing woman in the world.

---

While Peter and Noah were at home, Olivia sat and held her baby. She examined her face and smiled as she realized what was her and what was Peter. She caressed her hair and cried softly when the whole fact that she was a mother hit her again.

Just like Peter, she hadn't expected to really be a mother, and now she has two kids.

She smiled as she thought about how gentle Noah was with his sister, and how if they would've had another boy instead, that her house would've been so wild with two energetic boys running around, let alone Peter.

"Hadley, my mother said that I would never amount to anything. That I'd be just a mistake my whole life, but look at me now. I'm in love with your Daddy, and I have you and Noah, and I'm something. I really am. I'm not just some mistake, and neither are you. We are both amazing people, just like your Daddy and your brother." Olivia breathed, as a small smile lingered on her lips.
