Noah laid in bed with Olivia and she held him close as his breathing evened out again. She looked down at his tiny face and brushed the tears from his cheeks with her fingers.
"Momma, he'll be nice to you from now on, right?" Noah breathed, and Olivia swallowed hard.
"He'll try, but not everyone is nice all the time..." Olivia trailed off.
"But-" Noah started, but his mother cut him off.
"Life isn't simple, Noah. Parents fight, and people get upset. We will try to not fight around you and Haddie, but sometimes it just happens." Olivia breathed. Noah nodded slightly.
"Are you still getting married?" Noah asked, and Olivia nodded quickly.
"Yes, of course, we are still getting married. And before we know it you'll be walking me down the aisle to give me away to Daddy." Olivia spoked. She leaned down and kissed Noah's hair gently before holding him a bit closer.
Noah fell back asleep after a while, and Olivia looked at the door and saw Peter standing there. He wiped some tears from his cheeks before swallowing hard.
"Do you really still want to marry me?" Peter whispered, and Olivia nodded.
"Fighting didn't change that. I love you, and I want to be married to you so much." Olivia spoke, before reaching out to him. He walked over and climbed into bed with Olivia and Noah. He ran his fingers gently over Olivia's cheek before swallowing hard.
"I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry too. Noah will get over this."
---
Noah refused to talk to Peter for the whole weekend. He only spent time with Olivia and Hadley, and even though Olivia kept telling Peter that everything would end up okay again, he didn't really believe her anymore.
Monday morning came around and Olivia went to work early, so Peter was supposed to take care of Noah and Hadley before he headed into work himself.
"Hey, little man. Ready for breakfast?" Peter asked as he walked into Noah's room. His son was sitting on the edge of his bed struggling to tie his shoes, and he wouldn't respond to his father.
"Noah, I'm sorry for making your Momma cry. I didn't mean to make her so upset." Peter breathed. Noah took his shoes off and threw them at Peter, who caught them.
"I don't want you to be my father anymore." Noah spat. Peter felt a horrible feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"Noah, please," Peter begged. He felt like his heart was going to break into a million different pieces. He didn't think he'd love Noah as much as he does, and thinking about possibly losing him was killing him.
"You made me a promise, Peter! And you break that promise!" Noah yelled, before going into his closet and shutting the doors tightly.
"Noah, I'm sorry! I really mean it! Please come out so we can talk!"
"YOU AREN'T MY DAD SO GET OUT OF MY ROOM! YOU ARE A JERK!" Noah spat, and Peter quickly wiped some tears from his cheeks before quietly leaving the room and going to check on Hadley, the only kid who actually still liked him.
---
"So, was Peter excited?" Amanda asked after the rest of the crew left Olivia's office. Olivia nodded.
"He was... but then we got into a fight and now Noah knows that I'm pregnant." Olivia sighed.
"Oh no." Amanda breathed, and Olivia nodded.
"Yeah. He said he'd rather know that I was having a baby, because then if I lost it he could still love it." Olivia breathed. She couldn't help but be so thankful for her eldest, and for how absolutely sweet he is.
"He's adorable. Now, uh, what did you and Peter fight about?"
"We fought about how he let our secret out, almost, to Noah. Then Noah overheard Peter and me fighting and he found out that I was pregnant even though I didn't want him to know. I wanted to wait."
"Liv." Fin spoke, and Olivia looked over at him.
"Yeah?" She questioned.
"Noah, Peter, and Hadley are here." He spoke, and Olivia's eyes went wide.
"Why?" She asked, and Fin shrugged. Amanda and Olivia walked out of Olivia's office and saw that Peter was holding Hadley and that Noah was already sitting at Amanda's desk and spinning around in her desk chair.
"What's happening? What are you three doing here?" Olivia asked.
"Noah refuses to let me take him to school or help him with anything. I need to get to work, but I think I'm gonna take the day off and spend it with Hadley... can you do something with Noah?" Peter asked. Olivia saw the pain in her fiance's eyes and she nodded slowly.
"Yeah, I can. Did you pack him a bag?" Olivia asked, and Peter pointed at Noah, who had his backpack on.
"Thanks, Liv." Peter breathed. Olivia quickly walked over to him and hugged him warmly before kissing him a few times and then kissing Hadley's forehead a few times. Her daughter reached out to Olivia, but she had to refuse to hold her.
"I'll cuddle you tonight, my love. I'll see you soon." Olivia breathed. Peter walked away and Olivia walked over to Noah and ran her fingers through his curls.
"I think we need to talk, Noah."
"Momma, I tried-"
"No, you didn't. Come on, my office."
---
It took a while for Olivia to decide what to say to her son. He was kinda making her upset because he was being mean to Peter even though she told him not to.
"Noah, you need to forgive your father."
"No-"
"Noah, I mean this. You need to forgive him because he and I were both in the wrong. It wasn't all his fault. We said some pretty mean things to each other, but we forgave each other for those things. And what you have been saying to him made him cry and made him sad." Olivia spoke. Noah kneaded his eyebrows together as he looked at his mother.
"What?" He questioned.
"Did you not see how sad his eyes looked? Or the way he was talking quietly? That was your Daddy being sad. And you need to apologize to him for that."
"I'm in trouble, aren't I?" Noah asked, and Olivia nodded.
"No TV or dessert for this whole week... weekend included," Olivia spoke. He sighed and nodded.
"Okay. I'm sorry, Momma." He mumbled, before standing and walking around her desk. He hugged her warmly, and Olivia hugged him back.
"I love you still, Noah. And so does your Daddy. You just can't be doing this."
"I promise you that I won't do it again." He whispered, before climbing onto her lap and resting his head on her shoulder as she held him close.
He was back to being her sweet boy.
