Early the next morning, while Hadley's parents were still sitting beside her, the sedation wore off and Hadley opened her eyes once again. Olivia was the first to notice that the sedation had finally left her daughter's body, and she quickly reached across and shoved Peter.
"She's awake." Olivia breathed before she gently ran her hand over her daughter's chest as Hadley blinked a few times.
"Hey, Haddie. God, it's so good to see your eyes open, honey." Peter breathed, and Hadley moved her eyes to look at him and she gave her father a small smile. Peter's eyes lit up and then he leaned down and kissed his daughter's forehead.
"We should call Noah and tell him. Or we could Facetime him and he can see her with his own eyes." Olivia smiled, and Peter nodded. He reached in and pulled out his phone as Hadley whimpered and reached her arms up to her mother. Olivia bit her lip before going back to rubbing Hadley's chest.
"I'll hold you soon, baby girl. I promise. Just keep waking up and you can see your big brother soon."

Noah was woken up by Amanda when Peter requested a Facetime with her. She walked into Noah's room and turned his lamp on before shaking him awake.
"Noah, baby. Your Momma and Daddy are calling." Amanda breathed, and Noah ran his hands over his face before yawning.
"Why?" Noah asked, and Amanda accepted the call before handing the phone to Noah.
"Take a look yourself." Amanda smiled, and Noah squealed before sitting up quickly.
"Hadley! Hi, sissy!" He exclaimed, and he heard his mother and father laugh softly at his response.
"She woke up about ten minutes ago, and she's doing great. Tomorrow morning you are going to go to school late so that you can come and see Haddie. Her doctor said that she can have more visitors in the morning." Olivia exclaimed, but Peter didn't move the camera to look at her. He kept it focused on Hadley.
"Momma, she's good now, honestly?"
"We aren't lying to you, darling. Now, we are so sorry to wake you up but we just didn't want you to be angry at us in the morning." Olivia spoke.
"Okay... I love you, Hadley. I love you, Momma and Daddy. I'll see you in the morning!"
---
Shortly after the call ended with Noah, Peter went and talked to the doctor. A few moments later, Peter and the doctor came back as Olivia talked quietly to Hadley as she whimpered because she wanted to be held.
"It's okay, Haddie. It's okay. You are good, baby girl. I'm here. And look, there is Daddy again."
"Mrs. Stone, you can hold her." The doctor spoke, and Olivia's eyes went wide.
"I can?" She asked quietly, and he nodded.
"Of course you can. Let me just help you since she has all of those IVs." The doctor replied. Olivia sat back on her stool while the doctor picked Hadley up. The little girl screamed but calmed as soon as Olivia took her into her arms instead.
"Hadley, it's so good to hold you again honey. I hated to have you so sick." Olivia breathed, as she held her daughter close. Hadley snuggled into her mother's arms like she usually does, but not only did it comfort the small girl, but it also brought her mother's mind to ease.
"Peter, do you wanna hold her?" Olivia asked, shortly after she got her daughter into her arms.
"Are you bored of her already?" Peter laughed softly, and Olivia shook her head.
"No... I just didn't know if you wanted to hold her too. She is our baby." Olivia replied.
"It's okay, honey. You keep holding her. Because soon I'm sending you to get something more to eat."
"I'm-"
"You should be hungry and tired by now. So just enjoy this time."

2 Months Later
Hadley was released a few days after she had been admitted to the hospital. But as soon as she was released, the months flew by. Noah was in school and was very much enjoying his little league team. Hadley turned one and started to really walk and she was starting to say some words, mostly names like Momma, Daddy, and Bruder. Noah kept trying to get Hadley to say Noah, but she only managed to say ''oah' instead of Noah completely.
"We are going to be late as usual." Olivia sighed, as she held Peter's hand as they rushed into the doctor's office.
"They probably expect us to be late." Peter laughed, but his wife was just very anxious today. She had the gender appointment, but at the last appointment the doctor had seen something unusual and she was hoping and praying that something wasn't wrong with her baby. Their baby.
Olivia and Peter made it into the office and she signed in just as a nurse came out and called her name.
"Just on time. I told them that you'd be late." The secretary smiled, and Olivia sighed.
"Sorry." She spoke before she pulled her husband down the hall behind the nurse.
---
Since Olivia is older, the appointment was started by taking her blood. Then the nurse went through all of the usual tests, before going to get the tech to start the ultrasound. If something else was wrong, the doctor would be called in additional tests would be performed until they could figure out what had happened.
"Okay, Olivia and Peter, are you ready to see if this is another girl?" The tech asked, and Olivia nodded.
"Yeah, I hope it is. Noah and Peter are too much to handle." Olivia breathed. She laid back, and Peter grabbed her free hand as she pulled her shirt up.
"Alright, it's going to be cold." The tech spoke before she squeezed the gel onto Olivia's swell. Olivia didn't shake though because she was too focused on praying that everything was good still.
It was only a few moments before the sound of a very strong heartbeat was heard, and Olivia looked over and saw her baby on the screen. She looked over at Peter and saw a proud smile on his lips.
"Another little girl." The tech smiled, and Olivia smiled a bit, but then the tech frowned.
"I'll be right back." She spoke, but Olivia grabbed her arm before she could walk out.
"What's wrong with my baby?" Olivia whispered.
"I need the doctor to confirm it. I'll be back."
