"I-I don't know are you sure. He probably won't like me" you say on the phone to your friend.
Your friend Zach is introducing you to his bandmate and best friend Jack. He is setting you guys on a bind date.
Apparently, Jack hasn't had a girlfriend in a while and he wanted to go on a date with someone. And Zach remembered that you haven't had a boyfriend in a while so he figured you guys would be perfect together
"Don't worry he's going to love you I'm sure of it" Zach responds to you
"But I've never met this kid. What if he thinks I'm weird."
"Jacks not like that. And trust me if either one of you is weird it's him"
"Fine I'll go but he better be cute"
"Trust me he is. Well I'll see you in 10?"
You hang up and get ready for the "date"
You get done in 5 minutes and go in your car to drive to Zach and the bands house. You've only been to the house once when the others were gone and he was sick.
You get to the house and sigh knocking
Zach opens the door
"Good you're here he's been freaking out" he says opening the door
"Well that doesn't make me feel good"
"It's going to be fine and I'll give you the same speech I gave him. Don't be nervous it will be fine you'll meet and fall immediately in love"
"Woah love"
"It worked for him now come in" he says pulling you inside letting you go before the boys can see you getting literally dragged
When you walk in Jack's sitting on the couch and he suddenly stands up
"Hi" he says scratching the back of his head
"Hi" you respond
"Come on guys hug" Zach says forcing you two together
You guys hug and the room gets a lot less tense
"well how are you" Jack says smiling
"I'm good how about you"
"Great"
"You guys are the most boring people ever come on have a conversation" Zach says
"Zach we just met let us have a normal meeting" Jack says back.
"Well Sorry. Then I'll just be in my room then" he says walking away somewhere in the house
"So how do you know Zach" he asks inviting me to sit down on the couch
"Well in third grade we got into a fight about a red crayon and the teacher made us sit in during recess to talk about what happened. And we just became best friends from then. How about you?"
"We kinda just got introduced to each other through the band"
"Oh cool."
Zach comes downstairs during our conversation and looks pleasantly surprised
"Oh so you guys are talking about me" he asks
"Not really we were talking about how we know you" Jack says
"Well that's enough about me to make me satisfied. And now since you guys clearly don't have anything else good to talk about I'll give you guys some good things to talk about"
"I don't think we ne-"
"Okay so what's your favorite part about me" Zach says cutting you off
"Your hair" Jack says
