soooooo today's my 5 year anniversary with my boyfriend daniel and i am so excited
i literally can not believe we've been together for that long
i love him so much and i can't wait for the day he asks me to marry him
he left early in the morning today so i wasn't able to talk to him and say anything
but for right now i'm just going to text him and then get the house ready for the date night we're having

i just finished getting the house together and daniel hasn't texted me back
i'm sure he's just busy right?
yeah he has to be i mean he is a singer they're probably recording
but he could've answered me when he's not
ugh i don't know what's going on

it's now 5:30 which is normally when Daniel and the guys get done with recording so he should be home soon
i get ready in my fancy clothes and wait for him to come home
after a few minutes of waiting the door opens and in walks daniel
i'm kinda disappointed that he's not holding flowers or anything like that but it's okay
i stand up from where i am and walk over to him
"hey" i say kissing him
"wow babe you look beautiful"
"thank you"
"so why is the house so.. dark"
"well um it's an important day today so"
"it is?"
"um yeah really important"
"can you remind me exactly why?"
"seriously daniel. are you seriously that dumb"
"what come on please give me a hint"
"you know what no. it's our anniversary daniel, 5 years. yeah i know 5 years ago you asked me out but apparently that's not important enough for you to remember" i wipe my tear before it falls and i turn around to go upstairs to change
"where are you going" he asks grabbing my hand
"to change" i rip my hand out of his grip and turn around again
right as i get to the first step daniel calls me again
"wait! come back down"
"no daniel"
"Kim seriously turn"
"ugh you're so frus- oh my god"
as soon as i turn around daniels on his knee smirking
"now come over here" he laughs
"i don't find this funny" i mumble walking over
"oh whatever" he grabs my hand and sticks his hand in his back pocket
before i can say anything else he's taking out a box and opening it to reveal this beautiful ring
"Kim, baby, you may believe i didn't know what today is but that is far from the truth. i am so aware that today is our 5 years, 60 months, 260 weeks, 1,825 days, and a whole lot of hours, minutes, and seconds, anniversary. i would never ever forget something as special as this, and speaking of i think 5 years is a HUGE milestone for dating and so i believe that we need to take a even bigger step. and with that being said please make me the most happiest human in the whole galaxy and whatever is bigger than that and marry me"
i am speechless all i can do is nod
"perfect" he places the ring on my finger and kisses my hand
i help him stand up and we kiss
