It was the night of your senior prom and you really wanted to go with your boyfriend of a year Kyle.
Ever since you were 4 years old youve been dreaming about prom. It is really important and special to you so you are setting up the whole thing.

They were always best friends and prom came along and they went together as friends and as your dad picked her up he was amazed

Then they dated and got married then had you but unfortunately 3 years ago they passed away leaving you by yourself
Your mom always told you that no matter what as long as you get great grades, be a good person, and lead a great educational life she will be proud
So here you are president of your school, valedictorian, and best friend to everyone no matter what
Basically you are all around a great person and all you want back in life is to go to prom with Kyle
However, he would not go. You asked every single day and you even bought two tickets well you got them free because you were setting up
Anyways he wouldn't go and you were very upset
Right now you are setting up the prom to make sure it is absolutely perfect
You just finished and it looks amazing
"Wow" you whisper looking around wishing you could go tonight
"Hey y/n you have to go get ready" your friend that was setting up with you says
"I'm not going"
"What no you have to. You've been dreaming about this."
"Kyle wouldn't say yes and I asked every day"
"Well Kyle needs to get over it and go with you"
"I've tried everything to make him go but he won't"

"You should go home get ready, put on that beautiful dress you have, do your amazing makeup, put on your heels, go to Kyles house, show him what he's missing, and go with him"

You laugh and go home to get ready

When you're done you text a picture to your friends y/f/n, Jack, Zach, Jonah, Daniel, and Corbyn in your group chat and tell them that you changed your mind and you are going to try and get Kyle to go with you to prom

You are on your way to Kyles house and you hope it will work and he will go with you
When you finally get to his house you see a strange car in the driveway
Nevertheless, you get out of the car and go to knock on his door
"Oh he- what are you doing here" he says opening the door
You notice he looks very disheveled and his shirt is on inside out
"Well I wanted to know if you'd um reconsider and go to the prom with me"
"Oh I'm so sorry I'm not ready I can't g-"
