It was a dark and stormy night and your boyfriend Jack just left your home
When he left it was just normal pouring rain but soon it became more intese
Thunder and lightening illuminated the sky making you whimper as you hated the loud noise and bright light it created
You ran up to your room and threw on the clothes Jack keeps at your house
You quickly run to your bed hiding under the covers as the thunder and lightning intenses
Your phone turns on and you see Jack texted
J- are you alright
Y- yeah...
J- I'm coming back
Y- why
J- you're scared
Y- no I just said I'm okay
J- you say yes not yeah and you never use the ... I know you're not
Y- ugh you know me too well
J- don't worry I'll be there soon
Y- Jack you're going to get struck by lightning
J- oh baby the safest place during a storm is the car
Y- why are you so smart
Jack laughs reading your text as he runs up to your door
As soon as he heard the thunder he turned his car around going right back to your house
He knows how terrified you are
He walks in your house and runs up the stairs to your room
"Ja-jacky" you whisper hearing the door open
"Shh I'm right here" he climbs in bed with you and holds you close to his chest
"I-it's so loud"
"I know I know"
You scream as another flash of lightning shines
"Hey Hey shh don't yell it's okay."
"Why does it have to be so stormy"
"I don't know. All I know is you're okay and safe inside"
"What if we get struck"
"There's no way it can get in to the house. Don't worry."
"O-okay. Can we watch a movie" you ask looking up at him
He smiles and kisses your forehead
"Of course" he whispers and puts on your favorite movie you both love to watch
Soon you're fast asleep completely forgetting about the awful storm, your mind only being able to focus on Jack and how safe you feel in his arms
He looks down at your peaceful sleep smile and smiles himself
"Wow I am so lucky" he whispers kissing your head falling into a deep sleep
