Today was the day
You were going to do it
You were so tired, not physically but tired mentally, emotionally
You couldn't hold on any longer
You were going to kill yourself
The past eight months were awful.
It started when your friends all suddenly dropped you at once
Then your grandparents died, which made you devastated. They were your best friends, taking care of you since you were three when your parents also died
After they died and you lost all your friends the only person you had left was your boyfriend Jonah
Every day he would help you with your feelings
He would be there to wipe your tears and hug you whenever you needed
But even with that he was also slowly going away you could just tell
He's slowly been stopping coming over and hanging out with you, he stopped responding to your texts, and worst of all he stopped hugging you
You loved his hugs. Whenever he hugged you, you felt whole, complete like nothing was wrong.
In his arms your grandparents were still alive and you had all your friends
But then you would pull away and reality came back
Right now you could really use his help
You decide to call him, maybe if he answered and talked to you, you would feel better and not do anything to yourself
You pick up your phone, hand shaking and call him
He doesn't answer and your heart breaks
Your tears all fall and you take a deep breath
You call one more time and of course he still doesn't answer
This time you leave a voicemail
"H-hi Jonah. Um you didn't answer my calls and I understand if you're too busy for me but I really need you right now. I can't do this anymore. I can't live like this. I have no one. No friends, no family, not even you. So I just want to say goodbye. I love you I really really do but I can't do this anymore. I need to leave. Leave everything, everyone. So I'm going to do it. By the time you listen to this I'll be gone. I love you Jonah Marais Roth Frantzich but I have to go. Goodbye" you hang up the phone and the tears continue
And with one last text you make your way to your bathroom, locking the door afterwards
Y- goodbye you've been the best thing to happen to me and I hope when I'm gone you'll be happy and not sad. I love you
You turn on the water to the bath and let it fill up all the way
You remove your clothes and the bath is filled
You take a deep breath and get in
"Goodbye world. You'll be better without me" you whisper lowering yourself under the water to drown yourself
