move in day at college
start of a new school, a new state, new friends, and best of all new boys
this is the first time you've ever been out of state and honestly you're kind of excited
your parents dropped you off and helped you move in a few hours ago and now you're just in your dorm room looking around
the school messed up the room situation and you were put in a group dorm with 5 boys when it was supposed to be 3 boys, 3 girls
the boys haven't come into the dorm yet despite all their stuff being in the room so you don't know what they look like
as you're looking around the dorm there's a knock
you open the door where the knock came from and see a boy
he's super cute and has the most gorgeous eyes you've ever seen
too bad you already have a boyfriend
"hi!" he says
"hi i'm assuming you're one of my roommates?"
"yup. i'm assuming you're y/n and not Jack, Corbyn, Zach, or Jonah?"
"yes that's me. are you...Daniel?" you ask looking down at the list of names
"yup"
he walks in the room and you guys go over to the couch
"do you know when the others are coming?" he asks
"no i was assuming everyone was going to be here when i came but no one was."
"when did you come"
"three hours ago"
"oh i came earlier maybe they did too. so are you from here?"
"nope i'm from y/h/t. what about you?"
"yeah i'm from here. i should show you around... if you wanted to"
"that would be fun. what's your favorite thing about here"
"honestly just walking around. it's very relaxing especially in the fall"
"does it get cold?"
"mhm but it's a nice cold if you know what i mean"
"i get it"
you continue to talk about yourselves and you really enjoy Daniels presence
eventually the other dorm mates come in and you all meet
as you're talking to them they're all super nice and you're actually really happy with how everything's turning out
everyone orders something for dinner and while you wait for it to come you all play a game of truth or dare
"okay so y/n truth or dare" Jonah asks starting the game
