"ADDY GET DOWN HERE YOU HAVE A GAME!" my mom screams at me from downstairs
i groan and sit up wiping my eyes
today is the most important basketball game for my school and we HAVE to win
and honestly our school SUCKS so it's up to us cheerleaders to help them be motivated
i love being a cheerleader especially since all of us are the bestest of friends
however none of them are my closest best friend
my real best best friend is Zach Herron from the boyband why don't we
normally he goes to every single of the games and watches me cheer but today he actually has a free concert show so he can't come
it's going to be weird not seeing him in the stands but oh well that's how it's going to have to be

"LETS GO TEAM WIN WIN WIN!" i scream from the sidelines
right now we are losing by 15 points
but it's only second quarter so we're good
soon it's halftime which is where me and the girls can really show off
everyone gets so hyped up at the halftime and it always motivates the team to do better
what can i say we're perfect

it is now halftime and we are about to perform
normally i'm excited but today i'm kind of nervous
usually i can look to zach and get my nerves out but today i can't and it's stressful
"come on ads we gotta go" my teammate says pulling me onto the court
i follow and we begin our routine
luckily i don't mess up at all and it's perfect everyone's screaming and dancing and just having a great time
even the team is watching us
this is one of our best performances and i really wish Zach was here

the game just ended and WE WON
everyone's saying that its all because of our cheer even the players
it's super fun and it feels just like the ending to high school musical
i start to dance around with my friends when i feel someone tug on my left arm
i turn around and gasp as i see Zach with all of the other members behind me
"zach!" i scream hugging him "you came"
"of course i did"
"but i thought you had a show?"
"we did but we made it out just in time for your performance which by the way was amazing"
"thanks so much zach you're my best friend"
"actually..." suddenly all the lights in the gym are off and everyone's silent
soon a spot light is placed over us and the boys begin to sing
they sing their new song What Am I and at the end of the song Zach takes my hand
"will you be my girlfriend"
"yes!" i squeal and hug him
everyone claps and i grab his face and kiss him
"i'm so happy you're my girlfriend now"
"i know you are but what am i?"
