For a man who went through his whole life guarding his feelings and his heart, Can Divit valued his walls beyond all other values. His life to this point entailed sorrow after sorrow. Failed trust in so many. A child's failed trust in his mother. A brother's failed trust in his brother because of his brother's poor ambitions. But beyond all hurt, the hurt that was caused by the indescribable of loss of Sanem's. Because it left him breathless...

For the first time a woman touched his heart. And for the only time. This he vowed to himself...

He was a confident man, who did his best to hide his insecurities and doubts of self-confidence. He chose a dangerous profession. He was a great photographer, who paid the greatest attention to details. But deep down inside Can was afraid. Afraid of hurt. Afraid of trust. Afraid to let anyone get close to him.

Sanem was different. A breath of fresh air. Both innocent and trusting. His insecurities seemed to find a healing light of her love. She fell hard for him. That struck him down. Realizing she felt the same only gave him more boost. It soothed his sorrow and began to heal him. Yet he failed to understand the complexity and intensity of her love. She was a free spirit. Both stubborn and fragile. She had layers to her soul that left him urgently seeking her presence.

As in real life, most think that a man should be brave. He should be strong. He should be confident in his actions. And Can was all of those things. But only Sanem saw more in him. When they met,  Sanem in her naivity was persuaded into thinking that he was pure evil, a Bad King. But Can's brother Emre underestimated Sanem's ability to seek out light, love, and justice in all she had done. A balance of truth. The feeling of rightousness guided her at all times. And so she fell for Can. Her love felt overpowering and neverending.

Can too had layers... So deep that he kept them secret, left them unspoken and untouched. The feelings he guarded came back with full fury when Sanem lost her trust in him... It cut more than anything he ever felt. The despair of it all left no breath in his lungs.

They say a woman's hurt goes beyond all pain. But a man's hurt cuts to the core. She hurt him... The tears in his soul burned through all of his being. She did not believe him. She accused him of so many things he never would have been capable of. She failed to see that. And that hurt him the most. She chose her own selfish beliefs over his honesty... She was just as insecure as he had been, and she chose to take the easy way out rather than to believe in his words and in the evil of all things Yigit. And that was more than he could ever accept...
