Bulut hated to be the bearer of bad news. The burden of bringing more sadness to Sanem lay heavy on his heart. To think they assumed they were finally able to release Sanem's creams only to be stopped yet again perplexed him. He could not understand why their little known and barely off the ground company was receiving so much negativity.
As he expained to his friends that there appeared to be a person who accused Sanem of creating a cream that caused allergies, he felt sick to his stomach. They were all distressed, but Sanem took it personally. She had been creating her creams for as long as she could remember. And she never came across anyone who fell ill from them. She went to great lengths to ensure her creams were of highest quality. All of her ingredients were of organic nature. All tested to ensure none caused an allergy. So to be told that not only someone fell ill because of her cream, but that there now was a prosecutor involved, meant one thing. It meant that again they would need to stop making her creams. Again. And she was crushed...
Bulut looked at Deren. How strange it seemed that the cool and coy Deren was stressing herself out. She was visibly beside herself. They put in so much effort in making sure to create Sanem's brand, patent it, and were preparing to advertise it. She could not believe it was all for nothing. Life simply did not work this hard against her. She did not know how to deal with it. And Bulut came to realize that she and Sanem had a special bond. They knew each other, and whatever their beginnings were, the friendship they shared now gave them a sense of comfort. And Ceycey seemed to find amusement in pulling that friendship out of them.
As for Can, Bulut was impressed. Yet again Bulut saw how much Sanem meant to Can. But that was not all that impressed him. He saw how Can reacted to the news. On the outside, he was calm and stoic. But Bulut knew better. The anger he hid so well could not be hidden by his eyes. Bulut could see the wheels turning in Can's head. No, Can was not a man of words. He was a man of action. If anyone could figure out who stood behind all this distress directed toward Sanem, it would be Can. The fact that Can turned to him and asked him to keep an eye on Sanem made Bulut feel like a part of their group. Made him feel that he was trusted. He felt a connection to Can that he did not usually feel toward those he did not know for a long time. And he appreciated Can all the more because of that...
Looking at the group of people pacing back and forth made him realize how much they valued each other. They were now friends, colleagues, and partners. All for one... And this time it was Sanem who needed their help. Needed their support. And one way or another they would find a way to overcome the obstacle that lay before them, and in the end they would release her creams with the anticipated success. Because there had to be more to that story of the man who accused Sanem than met the eye. And damned if they would let him get away with it...
