Finding out that Emre and Leyla chose to pursue their dream filled Can with pride. He was confident with their choice because he believed in them. He supported them and was glad for the fact that they decided to start the business together. Hand in hand, toe to toe, Can was beginning to realize that there is a strength to face anything if it were multiplied by two...

Seeing Sanem walk the path toward him in the red dress took his breath away. It may have appeared to Sanem that his walk slowed down when he layed his eyes upon her, but the fact was that his heart forced him to concentrate on breathing instead of keeping balance and pace when he walked. She was stunning. Finding himself at a loss for words was an understatement. He made every effort to look cool and unaffected by the sight of her, but on the inside he felt so lightheaded that he hoped the blood rushing through his veins was heavy enough to keep his feet safely on the ground. He changed his look for her that evening, and wondered what might have made her change hers as well. He dared not to hope he was that reason, but then again...

They walked into the venue where they were to meet Leyla and Emre. Can had no doubt that all eyes turned to Sanem, but could not tell so because his eyes never left hers. They spoke of small stuff, and he swore if it wasn't for a brother's love, he would have knocked Emre for not only NOT noticing he took great efforts into looking his best that evening, he also denied noticing any change whatsoever in the way Can looked. Leyla too looked unimptessed by his attempts to point out how different he looked...

When Leyla sang, her voice felt so powerful and strong, that no one would ever notice that it was her first performance. And Can realized just how talented the Aydin sisters truly were. Each in their own way, but they both held that light of inspiration in their soul. He knew Leyla would be successful, he had no doubt about it. And he cherished the fact that the four of them got to experience her first performance together. Not only as siblings, but as four companions. He was slowly beginning to understand the bond of a family, and that evening made him feel even more grateful for that.

Considering they were at a place where Leyla's dream was coming true made him wish for a dream of his own. To hold Sanem and let their steps carry them away with the melody of a song. To feel her hand in his hand. Her head on his chest. That dream was so close to his heart. Each dance they shared remained in his heart, and when he was away from the land and stuck at sea with no way to turn, he would remember the way it felt to hold her close in a swaying way, just as his boat would sway in the waves. Their first dance at the mountain home, where she took his breath away, stole a piece of his heart when she asked him to dance. He was asked to dance by other women in the past, but Sanem didn't just ask, she demanded it, and with full expectation of his complete surrender. When they danced at the Redmode campaign lauch and at the self motivation relationship resort, he felt like it was just the two of them on that floor. He could not describe it, but she had a way of affecting his reality. And he wished with all of his love in his heart that some day he may find her back in his arms, dancing again.

And then he watched Sanem offering her hand to him, asking for a dance. If he hadn't known better, he woud have sworn that he must have exclaimed his heart's wish so loudly that everyone heard it, because how else could he explain that his wish came true in less that a split second after he wished it so? The power of that offered hand could not be denied. He accepted that hand, and his heart melted. He wondered for a moment if he had wished this same wish a year ago for Sanem to stretch out her hand to him when he held his out at the hospital after Yigit fell, would that wish have come true then? But he knew that pang in his heart felt too painful to answer that question, so he let it go. And chose to feel what he felt just then when her hand rested so perfectly in his. He led her to the floor, and again his wish had come true. She rested her head in the place they both knew was her safe place. He would never be able to express how she made him feel when she told him she did not need him to take her anywhere in the world, for her place she ever wanted to belong in was in his arms, resting her head on his chest...

The light he saw in her eyes shone back in his. The love he felt in his heart was beginning to sing back from her heart so loudly that he again was beginning to hear it, just as he heard it when they were in love back then. And he knew she was hearing it too.
