Samen woke up with the warmth of the morning's sun on her face. Deniz's voice carried her back to reality after a long night's dream. She woke up rejuvenated. Rested and happy. She wondered it was because the last face she saw was that of Can's.

They spoke of their partnership. And they spoke of the stars. She could not help it and saw the way he looked up at the stars. And she recalled all the times those stars looked down upon them with their enchanting light. The night she gave in to his charm and demanded a dance. The strength and safety of his embrace that night seemed like a dream, which she came to realize it actually was no dream at all... The night she found him deep in the forest. She may have revealed a bit of herself and her feelings to him in that she asked him not to leave, but it was him she realized that revealed a part of himself to her in that he spoke of his past and of his moonstones.. The night they lay in the hammock by the breeze if the sea and she told him the tale of Artemiz she saw him look at her in a different light. Though the light of the stars shone bright in his eyes, it wasn't the stars' light she saw most of all. She saw a spark, a mysterious flare. The eay he looked at her made her yearn for his embrace. She felt so happy in that moment of time...

They spoke in a code of the fact that they had nothing left of each other. She hid the ring that lay right at her heart. And she knew he lied too. She saw the bandana he held in his hand when he rescued it from Mihriban's burning hut. She thought he did not see that she saw what he had done. But she saw it. And felt the significance of his action as much as he did. Again she recalled every time the bandana changed its owner. The way it shone bright on her outfits whenever she wore it. The way it helped heal his would when he cut his hand while looking for a way out of Remize's empty facility. The way it brought them face to face when she demanded to have it return to her, and she untied it from his hand raized so high that she felt she touched the stars when she stood on her tiptoes and reached for the scarf. The way it addorned his beautiful face when he tested Mevkibe's food the same day she got it back from him. Oh, she would never forget his victorious smile full of intent and satisfaction when he took that scarf back...

The sun on her face shone right into her heart. She felt so much better than she did in a long while. She dreamt of Can, in a positive way. Somehow she thought she felt him as well, but in her mind the possibility of that would prove to be illogical. She rose from the hammock and went ro work with her friends. When Can came around she could no longer hide the effect he had on her. She spoke to herself, but to Ceycey as well. The magnificence of his stride drummed up all the way in the ground she stood upon. She reached for her ring. And the ground she stood on shook from her distress. The morning of happiness turned into a morning of despair. She thought she lost it. How could she have? The one thing of his she promissed never to take off was now gone from her sight.

She searched for it with all the hope she had. No place left unturned, no rock in its place. And then she saw how peaceful and smug Can looked. And she realized she may have been duped. So he knew she still held it close to her heart? So he knew she still loved him? So he found a way to somehow reach for it and take it? And the moment her heart understood that little game of his, she knew she would find a way to take back the bandana and make him feel the same...
