True love has the kind of power that is as indescribable as much as it is enigmatic. And once the soul fills with that kind of true love, it knows no other kind, recognizes no other way through life. No matter how much one pretends to deny it...
As much as Sanem fought her heart not to feel love again, she was helpless when it came to her soul. That battle was already lost. Can filled her whole soul, leaving no part of it untouched.
The day Can left, Sanem's heart shattered into a million little pieces. But it was her soul that no longer felt like hers. When she entrusted her soul to Can, she understood much more vividly than Can, that her soul would never be hers again. The dreamer in her surrendered her soul and never looked back. So when Can left, she was left with pain in her heart, but also complete numbness in her soul. And that, to a dreamer, was worse than death. It was complete nothingness, an empty void so overencompassing that no logic or sense of everyday reality could penetrate. Sanem lost herself, for all of herself belonged to Can...
And now he returned. The fierce rush of her soul coming back with him knocked her so hard back to reality that she could barely contain herself. Somehow she realized that sun's rays could again reach her face. The sweet melody of birds' morning hymns could again reach her ears. The gentlest touch of grass could again find her bare feet. And as much as she hated to admit it, Can's eyes seemed to find her eyes again too. An innocent gaze here, a more direct stare there. And she had to admit it that there were times when she was the first one to look...
To the unfamiliar eye, one might be completely oblivious to the fact that their souls were already not only reaching out, but that they in fact were already speaking to one another. In unisom. Once their souls spoke the same language, many moons ago, they needn't even look at each other to provide the same answer... And this too they realized again.
When it came to the question of where to shoot the photo shoot, they both answered: in nature. When it came to the way Sanem should be portrayed, they both answered: natural. And when it came to the question of using Sanem's perfume as part of the photo shoot, they both knew that the answer would be: No.
Slowly, but inch by inch toward their new beginning, they began to ease away their walls they built so meticulously. The photo shoot, so conveniently organized by Aziz Bey, forced them to figure out a way to spend time with each other in such a close distance that all they would need to do is reach out and pull one to the other. And back into their arms.
The simplest fact that Can was no longer afraid but was brave enough now to touch her hair, and caress it gently away from her face, sent shockwaves through both of their bodies. Their hearts swam in the sea of joy for not having been rejected. Their souls yearned to be recognized and accepted again in the eyes of the other. And those all too familiar sparks of passion flew out of their eyes, and almost blinded Deren and Ceycey, along with Aziz and Mihriban, who could only triumph in silent acknowledgement that their hard work of bringing Sanem and Can back together was finally becoming a reality...
