A MAN'S SORROW CUTS DEEPER

A brother's love...

It occurred to Sanem that life could change in an instant. You may find love. You may loose love. But you may also get lucky enough for life to bring you the gift of true friendship.

When Sanem started working at the Divit family's agency, she had no idea how profoundly this one step would affect her life. She found love, her life's calling in creating more than just her creams or writing, she had also found a better connection with her sister. But perhaps most importantly aside from finding Can was the fact that she found true friendship. Ceycey had proven to be more than just a co-worker, more than a good friend. Ceycey had become a brother to her.

And for his part, Ceycey found a sense of belonging with Sanem. Far from his homeland, with no one to turn to, Ceycey found a friend in Muzo, and he found a true sister in Sanem.  

The relationship between Ceycey and Sanem evolved from coexistence to realizing how important they are to each other. They understood each other without words. And Ceycey could pick up on the littlest of changes in Sanem's mood. What he grew to feel for Sanem was a big brother's love. He took greatest pride in caring for Sanem and would go above and beyond any limit to make sure no harm ever came her way.

It was that sibling-like ability to sense Sanem's uneasiness that made him realize something bad had happened when Sanem approached the agency's outdoor conference table. She had the look of lost words in her eyes, but Ceycey also felt the distress of her soul. He knew something was off. And when she revealed that Yigit proposed to her, all the blood in his body boiled and steamed right through his head. He lashed out at Sanem in complete disbelief and fury that she did not decline his offer right away. He knew her, knew everything about her love for Can, and he could not believe she did not turn down the snake of a man that Yigit was. They fought with words and released the tension that could not be contained.

And when all had been said and Sanem left, Ceycey vowed to make sure Yigit would pay for the distress he caused to Sanem, their little family, and to Can as well. With that in mind, Ceycey realized he needed to make sure Can was alright too.
