Ishu's pov :

It been a week since I started going to hospital it feels so good rather than staying in home doing nothing whole day. It was week end friday six in the evening I packed my bag and moved out after biding bye to my colleagues, I reached home at seven fifteen there was more traffic then usual today as its weekend and that too in the evening recahing home is a hectic task. I was the first one to reach home as mama still didn't came I ringed his phone but he was not receiving the phone I think he his driving, today he went in bike as rudra Anna took jeep as he went out for some work. I freshened and changed into comforts then decided to cook something new for dinner and searched what all ingredients left in the cabinet and fridge I found few vegetables eggs and curd as its month end and we are running out of groceries, so I decided to prepare brinji, roasted egg and raita for dinner.
First I kept egg to boil and cutted the vegetables, onion and searched for the ingredients which all needed, it took fourty minutes for completing the dish. The rice has cooked and It smells good I am waiting how it tastes.
It was almost eight thirty still mama didn't came I was about to call then door bell rang I moved to the door and opened it and saw mama was standing there with smily face, I think he so happy seeing his face I let him and closed the door behind me and moved behind him.
Ishu -" you look so happy today "
I asked him while moving inside the kitchen to fetch water for him and he sat on the sofa in the hall and said
Karthik -" why can't I be happy "
Ishu -" nothing like that I am asking the reason behind your happiness mama "
I rolled my eyes at his comment and I said handing him the water botel and sat beside him and waited for his reply, he gulped half of the bottle and said
Karthik -" I have a surprise for you "
Ishu -" and what is that "
I asked him curiosily as we all became curious if someone says they have a surprise for you he chuckled at my reaction and said
Karthik -" I said surprise wifey "
Ishu -" come on stop creating suspense and tell me "
I said making puppy face and held his hand then he said
Karthik -" OK "
Ishu -" come on fast "
I said impatiently and smiled broad at him
Karthik -" patience pondati "
He said and removed a envelope from his pocket and handed me I looked at him in confusion and he said
Karthik -" open "
Ishu -" what is this mama "
I asked looking outside the cover and he said pulling my cheeks I slapped his hand playfully, damn it hurts when some one pulls your cheek and I don't like it and he said
Karthik -" see by yourself "
I opened the envelope it was In blue color I saw it was tickets for Maldives, one of the place I wanted to visit which I have in my bucket list, I turned to him and saw he was waiting for my reaction I jumped on his lap hugging him by his neck and kissed his cheek he wrapped his hand around my waist held me closer to him from falling and I said
Ishu -" thank you so much mama "
He just chuckled and smiled at me and said
Karthik -" did you like it "
Ishu -" I love it mama "
Karthik -" that's good to hear "
Ishu -" why suddenly all this mama "
Karthik -" why don't you want to go "
Ishu -" I want to but why now investing so much money on the trip"
I said as I felt why to waste the money if we save that we can use it when ever needed he smacked my head lightly I pouted at him
Karthik -" ohh..... My wifey just listen to me first I am not wasting money second I have good bank balance and I get good pack of salary third so I can take my wife where ever I want and I want to spend some alone time with my wife away from all these daily routine work and all since i didn't  took you out anywhere after marriage so let's consider as our honeymoon, I know it's little late but not to worry I will compensate wifey "
He said winking at me in last part I buried my face in his neck and hugged him more tightly to hide my flushed cheek and He said
Karthik -" our flight is on Sunday noon at 2 so pack your things and do shopping If you need anything "
Ishu -" Hmmm did you inform attai mama "
I asked him still sitting in his lap he said as he don't know
Karthik -" about what????? "
Ishu -" trip mama "
I also replied him without using the honeymoon word and he made a face as he realized something and said
Karthik -" I informed Amma about our honeymoon and also Rakshith he will tell others also "
He said while stressing honeymoon word more to tease me I smacked his shoulder lightly playfully and then I said 
Ishu -" freshen up mama let's have dinner "
Karthik -" OK "
I was about to get up from his lap but he scooped me in his arms and moved to our room, flipped me on the bed and said
Karthik -" wanna join "
While removing his watch and placed it on the side table I got up from the bed and took towel from cupboard
Ishu -" no thanks "
I said handing him towel and pushed him inside the bathroom he turned to me and said dramatically
Karthik -" god my wife Is so Boring  "
Ishu -" then why don't you find another one "
I replied him with my hands on waist either side
Karthik -" naa....... Known devil is better then unknown angel "
He said with a smrik before closing the bathroom door
Ishu -" OK "
I said him then I realized what he said did he just call me devil I moved towards the door and banged with my fist and said
Ishu -" did you just call me devil mama, open the door "
I banged it again when I heard him laughing inside, I stomped my foot in annoyance and moved out of the room.
