Las Vegas, February, 1970.

"Thank you, Tangerine!" The announcer says as you leave the stage after your stripping show. You walk backstage and enter your changing room, taking your white fur coat and wearing it, taking a moment to breathe before you head out of the place, obviously from the back door. You take out your cigarette and light it up, walking back to your motel where you permanently decided to live. The owner keeps asking you to go away, yet you do not care and keep your big butt there.

"Y/N! If I keep seeing you around, girl, I tell you, Imma call the cops!" The man says as he sees you walking inside the building. You do not say anything in response and go to extinguish your cigarette on his desk, before walking upstairs and blowing a kiss to the man. You enter your bedroom and take off your furry coat, laying it on a chair before opening the closet and taking your pink lace lingerie and wearing it. After, you go to bed.

The next day, you wake up around noon and get up from bed: today is your free day. You walk to the bathroom and take off your lingerie before taking a nice and warm shower. You hum a little to one of your favorite songs at the moment: I Just Can't Help Believing by B.J. Thomas. You always look tough and dominant on stage, but in reality you have always dreamed of a man who could stand up to you; someone who could keep you under his wing, to guide you through life. You needed a perfect boyfriend, who could also be your father figure. You get out of the shower and take your pink robe, drying yourself and putting your hair up in a turban with your purple towel. You walk out of the bathroom and head to the window, opening it and looking down for a second. You decide to take one of your blunts and light it up, a great smoke once in a while does not hurt anyone. You enjoy your moment of delight and look at the birds flying in the sky.

Suddenly, your daydream is broken by a police siren, you look down and you see the car right under your window. You quickly step back and close it, pulling the curtains as well. Did the owner really call the cops? You shake your head and extinguish your blunt as soon as it is finished, throwing it in the sink. You walk back to the bathroom, removing the turban from your hair. You take your oil and brush it on your ends, before taking the blowdryer and bending down to let your hair dry faster.

When you are done in the bathroom, you head to the bedroom and open the closet, choosing a yellow blouse with a black miniskirt. You wear your lace cream lingerie, your black fishnet stockings, then the clothes you have chosen. You look at yourself in the mirror and smile. "You look great today." You tell yourself. When you are about to get out of your room - turned into a flat, you hear someone knocking on the door.

You look over at it and blush, gulping. Is it the cop? Is it a killer? Is it your ex? You walk to the door and bend down to look through the keyhole. "Y/N! It's me, Diana!" You breathe a sigh of relief when you hear her voice. You stand up and open, letting her in and closing the door right after. "You look pale, girl... What's the problem?" She asks, chewing her gum and fixing her hair a little. You shake your head. "Nothing, nothing... Just I haven't been paying rent for two years and he threatened to call the cops and I'm scared, I have drugs everywhere and I'm a stripper, I'm gonna end up in prison if they find out..." You say, looking down. Diana sits on the bed with you and rubs your shoulder. "Doll, you're gonna be alright, why don't you come to my place? I have a pretty big bed, we can sleep there..." She says, looking at you. "Diana, you're not only a stripper, you're a bitch too." You reply, she laughs. "Hey what you tryna say? You think I won't be able to be your friend and fuck men in the room at the same time?" You both laugh loudly. "Diana, thank you for the offer but I wanna stay by myself. I'm better like this." You reply, nodding.
