Mikayla looked at the time on her watch, she saw that it was noon and noticed that no one else was still in her dorm. Got dressed and she was slightly confused as to why Hermione didn't wake her up for breakfast but shrugged it off and made her way downstairs into the common room. Fred ran straight over to the brunette, "There you are! Flitwick told me you're my partner for my Elite audition." Mikayla gave Fred a strange look, "You're trying out for the Elites?" He nodded excitedly, Mikayla smiled, "Alright, got any ideas?" "I was hoping to use one of your original songs." Mikayla agreed, taking Fred's hand and lead him over to the couch, where she pulls out her songbooks. They flick through the books before Fred picks out a song called Photograph. Mikayla summons there guitars, before she teaches Fred how to play the melody. "I definitely think you should sing the bulk of the song." Mikayla told Fred, remembering on her audition Flitwick asked her to perform alone because she didn't sing much during her duet with Cedric.

"Alright, I have to go. I'll see you at 6:30 in the music room. Keep practicing." Fred nodded playing the chords and singing along as Mikayla rushed down to the kitchens to grab food before collecting Hermione from the Great Hall and journey to the library. "Why did you insist that Draco should join us?" Mikayla questioned Hermione, "Well, Avery was making a effort to get to know me, I thought you should do the same for her with Draco." Mikayla nodded in agreement, they fell into silence as they entered 'Book Heaven'. Mikayla spots Draco waving them over, he looked rather happy to see the girls making Mikayla stifle a laugh as she knew that Avery was probably outwardly panicking where the two Gryffindors were. The pair of Slytherins stood up from their seats and gave quick hugs 'hello' to the Gryffindors. "Where should we start?" Avery asked, the others shared a knowing glance, "I've actually done all my classwork." Mikayla spoke first, "I have as well." Hermione and Draco spoke in sync. Avery explains that she only has her essay for Umbridge to do. The three others guide Avery through her essay, before the four of them head to the Black Lake.

Avery lays out a couple of blankets on the ground for the four of them to sit and share a picnic together. "This was really nice of you to plan Avery." Hermione states as she picked up a grape. "Mikayla catch this in your mouth yeah?" Draco asks displaying a gummy bear. Mikayla nods, Draco throws the gummy bear, and it falls into Mikayla's open mouth. The others clap surprised she actually did it. "Your turn Draco." Mikayla smirked picking up a Bertie Bean, Draco drapes his head backwards as Mikayla throws the bean and it bounces off his nose. "Your go Hermione." Avery giggles picking up a grape, Hermione smiles cheesily before catching the grape in her mouth, Mikayla and Hermione share a double high five before Hermione challenges Avery. The bean falls satisfying into Avery's mouth, "Wow Draco you're the only one who didn't catch it. you know what that means?" "You have terrible aim." Mikayla gasped jokingly throwing another bean at Draco playfully which he catches in his mouth. "Wooo!" The girl girls laugh clapping there hands. "Right let's play a friendly game of truths." Avery spoke after they all laid down looking at the sky, Mikayla's head slightly onto of Draco's folded arms, "oh sorry." Mikayla spoke shyly moving her head. "Right let's start easy, favourite colour?" Avery questioned, "Green." Draco responded instantly, "Maroon." Hermione answered, "Cyan." Mikayla smiled staring at the clouds, "mine's Blue." "Favourite dessert?" Mikayla questions, "Treacle Tart." Avery and Hermione laugh together, "Chocolate Frog Cheesecake." Draco informs, "That sounds amazing. Mine would be coffee cake, hate coffee though." "Same." Hermione, and Draco add.

Mikayla stepped into the Flitwick's room that was transformed into the Elites' rehearsal room, nothing has changed in the room from the last time Mikayla say this set up. Mikayla walked along the seats towards the makeshift stage, seeing glimpses of her rehearsals from last year, Mikayla sat down on a empty stool on the stage, lifting up a guitar, she spins around having her back to the door, she began strumming her original song.

"Hey." Mikayla jumped at the sound of a voice she didn't hear anyone walk in. She spun around to see Brian Smirnov smiling up at the brunette, "Hey Brian." Mikayla smiled giving the boy an inviting hug. "I thought you quit." Brian admits, Mikayla nodded, "I was convinced to give it a shot." Mikayla smiled as she spotted Draco, Avery and Ginny walked in. "What's your verdict?" Ginny questioned, Mikayla looked at all the hopeful faces around her before looking over and spotting a Hufflepuff scarf laying on a seat, she sighs loudly, "I'm staying." Everyone cheered before wrapping Mikayla in a group hug as she laughs lightly. "What's going on?" Pansy asked as she entered the room, the group hug unravelled, revealing Mikayla. "So you're staying." Pansy stated, Mikayla nodded, a small smile took a place on Pansy's face.

"Fred Weasley auditioning with Mikayla Black." Mikayla and Fred got up to the stage, Mikayla convinced Roger Davis to play the drum with the pair. She set up three stools, mics and the drum she wanted Roger to use. She mouths a countdown with Fred before they begin.

The crowd clapped approvingly, "Welcome to the Elites Mr Weasley." Flitwick chimes, Fred beams as Mikayla gave him a congratulations hug. "Right, Miss Black do you have anymore songbooks filled?" Mikayla nodded slowly, "One but em, the songs are quite personal."
