Mikayla yawned, stretching her body after a half decent sleep. She got up, showered, got dressed before making her way downstairs to see Hermione with two bruised eyes. "Oh, what happened to you?" Ginny made a comment about Fred and George boxing telescope invention, Mikayla tried to stifle a laugh at the sight, now knowing the reasoning. Mikayla ran upstairs and her bruise removal paste, running back downstairs and handing it over to Hermione after Mrs Weasley was stumped. "Here, that'll clear right up." Harry came down with a breakfast tray in hand, Mikayla looked at him confused, "Mrs Weasley reckoned I looked underfed." He whispers to the blonde, who chuckles knowingly. Fleur informed the group how Bill had told her how truly hilarious the twins were, and Hermione snapped at her, Mikayla sent Fleur a sad apologetic smile, she had hoped that Hermione would've been a little nicer to the French girl.

Hermione got up and started pacing anxiously. "Mrs. Weasley, you're quite, quite sure no owls have arrived this morning?" "Yes, dear, I'd have noticed," said Mrs. Weasley patiently. "But it's barely nine, there's still plenty of time..." "I know I messed up Ancient Runes," Hermione began counting off the exams on her fingers and muttering to herself about each one. "I definitely made at least one serious mistranslation. And the Defence Against the Dark Arts practical was no good at all. I thought Transfiguration went all right at the time, but looking back-" "Hermione, will you shut up, you're not the only one who's nervous!" Ron said exasperatedly. "And when you've got your ten 'Outstanding' OWLs..." "Don't, don't, don't!" she cried, maybe thinking if he says that it'll jinx everything and he really would fail. "I know I've failed everything!" "You're the last person who could fail an exam, 'Mione." Mikayla sighed, crossing her legs over one another as she sat at the kitchen table. "No M, you're the last person who could fail your exams!" Hermione said in an exasperated sigh.

Avery joined everyone downstairs, sitting next to Mikayla, all the noise must've woke her up, Mikayla thanked her sister for helping her go asleep last night, Avery just nodded before they tuned back into the conversation. "What happens if we fail?" Harry asked, even though it had been five years now that he was involved in the Wizarding world, he was still unsure of so many things. "We discuss our options with our Head of House, I asked Professor McGonagall at the end of last term." Hermione answered, twisting her finger anxiously. Harry looked rightfully concerned at this.

"At Beauxbatons," Fleur said in almost a self-serving tone, not caring about the theoretical life ruining outcome that was just revealed, "we 'ad a different way of doing things. I think eet was better. We sat our examinations after six years of study, not five, and then..." Fleur's voice suddenly became inaudible as Hermione let out an equally terrified and excited scream. Mikayla jumped from her seat and ran to the open window where Hermione was pointing. Mikayla squinted at what was five dark specks in the skin, far away, but growing in size as they came nearer. "They're definitely owls," Ron said, poking his head between Mikayla and Hermione as if the added foot would help any to see them better. "And there are five of them," Harry swallowed loudly, now beside Mikayla. "One for each of us," Avery chewed at her lip as she joined the others looking out the window, everyone was now understanding Hermione's anxious worries now that the results were upon them.

"Oh no... oh no... oh no..." Hermione placed her face in her hands, maybe hoping they would go away if she ignored them. But the owls continued flying directly at the Burrow. As they were just above the worn path leading to the house, they could make out a large square envelope. "Oh no!" Hermione gasped, peeking through her fingers. Molly quickly made her way over and pushed the window open the rest of the way to give them plenty of room. The owls flew in one by one and landed on the table in a neat line. They each lifted their right legs where the letters were tied. The five kids each fumbled around looking for who they were addressed to, switching places with each other if when they found someone else's name.
