"Voldemort's got Sirius." Harry spat, Mikayla's heart sank as Hermione asked how Harry knew, "Saw it. Just now. When I fell asleep during the exam." Mikayla had gone pale, she took a seat on desk, completely tuning out of her friends conversations. She started to shake at the thought of losing her dad, she watched as her hand almost vibrated and she squinted her eyes as she felt her stomach turn. Mikayla started to think about her pain in the arm and hip early and if maybe it had something to do with her dad.

"They're not normal dreams!" Harry shouted, bring Mikayla back into the room and conversation, Harry stood back up, his fists clenched. "How d'you explain Ron's dad then, what was all that about, how come I knew what had happened to him? Mikayla saw it too!"  "He's got a point," Ron nodded cautiously.  "But this is just-just so unlikely!" said Hermione desperately. "Harry, how on earth could Voldemort have got hold of Sirius when he's been in Grimmauld Place all the time?"  "Are you saying we should just leave this to chance? To hope he isn't really there?" Mikayla raised her voice at Hermione, her hands still shaking. "No- but why," Hermione persisted, "why on earth would Voldemort want to use Sirius to get the weapon, or whatever the thing is?"  "I dunno, there could be loads of reasons!" Harry yelled. "Maybe Sirius is just someone Voldemort doesn't care about seeing hurt-"

"You know what, I've just thought of something," Ron interjected in a more rational, but still frightened tone. "Sirius's brother was a Death Eater, wasn't he? Maybe he told Sirius the secret of how to get the weapon!"  "Yeah- and that's why Dumbledore's been so keen to keep Sirius locked up all the time!" Harry said surely.  "Look, I'm sorry," cried Hermione, "but none of you are making sense, and we've got no proof for any of this, no proof Voldemort and Sirius are even there-"  "Hermione, Harry's seen them!" Ron said, turning to face her in such the defensive way that Harry was. Hermione turned to look at Mikayla, who was barely holding herself together. "Okay," she said, she looked hesitant, "I've just got to say this..."  "What?"  "You... This isn't a criticism, Harry! But you do... sort of... I mean- don't you think you've got a bit of a- a- saving-people-thing?" Hermione shuffled her feet nervously. Even Mikayla was taken aback by this. Harry glared at her, "And what's that supposed to mean, a 'saving-people-thing'?"  "Well... you..." she was tense, obviously anxious, "I mean... last year, for instance... in the lake... during the Tournament... you shouldn't have... I mean, you didn't need to save that little Delacour girl... You got a bit... carried away..."

Harry began a silent protest, no words could find their way out of his mouth but he was more agitated and irritable than Mikayla had ever seen him.  "....I mean, it was really great of you and everything," she blurted out in response to his reaction, trying to save herself. "Everyone thought it was a wonderful thing to do-"  "That's funny," Harry said, his voice cracked, "because I definitely remember Ron saying I'd wasted time acting the hero... Is that what you think this is? You reckon I want to act the hero again?"  "No, no, no!" sputtered Hermione. "That's not what I mean at all!"  "Well, spit out what you've got to say, because we're wasting time here!" Harry shouted.  "I'm trying to say- Voldemort knows you, Harry! He took Ginny down into the Chamber of Secrets to lure you there, it's the kind of thing he does, he knows you're the- the sort of person who'd go to Sirius's aid! What if he's just trying to get you into the Department of Myst- ?"

"Hermione, it doesn't matter if he's done it to get me there or not- they've taken McGonagall to St. Mungo's, there isn't anyone left from the Order at Hogwarts who we can tell, and if we don't go, Sirius is dead!"  "But Harry-  what if this was just a dream?" Harry shouted, throwing his hands into the air for a moment and then resting them on top his head. Hermione took a step back, frightened. "You don't get it!" Harry was turning even redder. "I'm not having nightmares, I'm not just dreaming! What d'you think all the Occlumency was for, why d'you think Dumbledore wanted us prevented from seeing these things? Because they're REAL, Hermione- Sirius is trapped- I've seen him- Voldemort's got him, and no one else knows, and that means we're the only ones who can save him, and if you don't want to do it, fine, but I'm going, understand? And if I remember rightly, you didn't have a problem with my saving-people-thing when it was you I was saving from the dementors."  "But Harry, you've just said it," Hermione stomped a foot. "Dumbledore wanted you to learn to shut these things out of your mind, if you'd done Occlumency properly you'd never have seen this-"

"IF YOU THINK IM JUST GOING TO ACT LIKE I HAVEN'T SEEN-"  "Sirius told you there was nothing more important than you learning to close your mind!"  "WELL, I EXPECT HE'D SAY SOMETHING DIFFERENT IF HE KNEW WHAT I'D JUST-" Mikayla stood in front of Hermione protectively, "look, I know you're angry and worried Harry but Hermione is just trying to consider all the factors. She is not your enemy, she is your friend, now treat her as such." Mikayla spoke gently, protective and attempting to defuse the situation, "HOW IS THIS MY FAULT? OF ALL PEOPLE I THOUGHT YOU WOULD AGR-" Harry cut himself off at the sound of the classroom door groaning as it opened, the foursomes heads all snapped towards the door to see who was coming into their heated conversation.

Ginny walked in, her forehead scrunched from curiosity, and Luna walked in behind her, looking rather lost but content. "Hi," said Ginny awkwardly. "We recognized Harry's voice- what are you yelling about?" "Never you mind," Harry dismissed. Ginny blink at him. "There's no need to take that tone with me," she said, rolling her eyes. "I was only wondering whether I could help." "Well, you can't," Harry said, crossing his arms whilst Mikayla sent him daggers with her eyes. "You're being rather rude, you know," Luna stated and smiled pleasantly. Harry swore and turned away from them, he began to pace. Luna waved to Mikayla with a big smile on her face. Mikayla gave her a small wave back before she folded her arms in front of her, looking angrily at Harry.
