Into The Light (Golden Trio Era) {2}

Morning in the Weasleys' Flat

Mikayla woke at 7:30, she smiled at her timing at she slowly unravelled from Fred and snuck out of the bed. She rushed to the kitchen, taking a look in the fridge to see eggs and rashers, her expertise. She cut the rashers into small pieces, throwing them in the frying pan and frying away. She mixes 4 eggs with some milk, for scrambled eggs, and once it was fully whisked and the bacon was almost finished cooking, she poured the egg mixture into the frying pan. After 20 seconds of it sitting, she folds it using a wooden spoon. Once she finished cooking the food, she put on some slices of toast, as she plated up the scrambled egg with bacon bits. Just as she finished buttering in the toast, the twins arrived in the kitchen still in their pyjamas, they beamed at the smell of their breakfast. "Sit." Mikayla told them, picking up both of their plates and sliding them in front of them. "thanks love." Fred leans up and pecks Mikayla's lips, "you're very welcome." Mikayla blushed wildly, grabbing her own breakfast and joining the boys.

"How's the head?" She asks just before taking a bite, "good, thanks for not putting me in the bath." Mikayla chuckles at George's words, he still remembers last night so at least he wasn't black out drunk. "Did have fun with Lee?" Fred questions, "yeah I did until I got too drunk." George chuckles admittedly. "You two agree on a path for the future?" George questions casually, Mikayla looks at Fred who acted all innocently, as if he didn't tell his brother the plan for the date, "yeah, we did, even the kids." George almost chokes, "no way you agreed to eight kids." George looked at Mikayla in shock, "actually I always wanted seven or eight kids, you can ask Avery, Ron, Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Neville, or Luna." George was genuinely shocked at the news but Mikayla could see he was happy that the pair had work past their past and can see a long future together. "Well I dibs being godfather for your first baby." George announces, Mikayla and Fred shared a knowing glance, silently agreeing that George would definitely be their first baby's godfather.

"I swear if you get my daughter to plot against me, I will hurt you." Fred and George's eyes widen at the realisation of Mikayla's words, "you marry Fred, don't you!" George spoke his realisation, Mikayla nodded her head lightly, "why didn't you tell me?" Fred questioned, "because I didn't want to tell you what the future holds us until you decided that you truly wanted to be with me and want the same things as I do for our future." Mikayla speaks honestly, Fred shook his head in disbelief with a smile growing on his face, "so rejecting me was to help me figure out what I wanted?" Mikayla simply nodded, "I didn't want you to feel obligated to be with me because of the future I saw, I wanted you to want it." Fred looks at his brother, who was watching the pair with a big smile on his face, "I hope I'll find someone who makes me that happy." Mikayla placed a hand on George's shoulder, "you will very soon." Mikayla speaks with emphasis on very as she remembered the vision she had last night. "Who?" George questioned, "can't say, you'll figure it out."

"Now." Mikayla claps her hands together standing up away from the table, "you two need to get dressed and head down stairs, it's almost nine." The twins shoot up and run to their bedrooms as Mikayla clear the plates, doing the dishes and wiping down the counters, "I'll be down in about an hour, once I'm ready." Mikayla rushed out as Fred rounds into the kitchen, "ok, later love." Fred whispers before pulling Mikayla into a kiss, "see you soon, Handsome." Fred smiles as Mikayla gives him another peck on the lips, before waving goodbye to him and George. Mikayla sighed happily, humming as she made her way back down to the bedroom to get a shower, do her makeup and get dressed into an orange outfit. She pulled on an orange crop top, an orange pleated skirt, orange knee high socks and black converse. Once she was dressed, she skipped through the flat, grabbing her little blue bag before heading out the front door of the flat and making her way downstairs into the already busy shop.

She waved at the twins across the room before making her way into her into the store room. Mikayla tied up her hair and put on her apron, first she looked at the stock of Carra Creations to see if they low on anything, they were low on 'Carra Curatio', 'Giggles in a Bottle' and 'Lovedar'. She made 973 bottles of 'Carra Curatio', 761 bottles of 'Giggles in a Bottle', and 864 bottles of 'Lovedar'. She puts them all on the right shelves in the store room. Adding them to the inventory list, after she recounts them to ensure she counted them right the first time, before finally moving onto the new potion, 'Camouflage'. Mikayla followed the steps in their brewery book, that she kept in her little blue bag, and tripled the portion.

Once Mikayla finished bottling all the potion, making a total of 878 bottles, Avery arrived in the storeroom alongside Verity, "Fred said something about potion testing." Verity smiled, Mikayla nodded, "is this Camouflage?" Avery questions taking in the potion's appearance. "yeah." Mikayla responded as she filled three cups with different amounts of the potion that was left over and couldn't fill another bottle. Verity was given two drops, Avery got four drops and Mikayla took six drops. Verity's invisibility lasted 10 minutes, Avery's lasted 20 minutes and Mikayla's lasted 30 minutes. Once Avery's effects wore off she went to get Fred and George, so that they could discuss prices, names, concentration and labels.

It took the boys a few minutes to arrive, just as Mikayla was becoming visible again. "I'll go help Verity whilst you three talk." Avery announced spinning around and leaving the room again. "Ok so, each drop last about five minutes. There's approximately 60 drops in each bottle, so a total of three hours of invisibility if you drink the whole bottle." Mikayla explains, she shows the boys how many bottles she has made, "name is Camouflage." Mikayla informs them, "if you will copy the recipe and add it to your recipe book." Mikayla opened the book onto the right page, showing the boys, George copied it and added the page to their recipe book.
