During the night McGonagall must've snuck into Gryffindor tower to put pamphlets, leaflets and notices referring to different Wizarding careers on the table near the notice board where Mikayla had placed the notice:

All fifth years are required to attend a short meeting with their Head of House during the first week of summer term. To discuss their future careers. Times of individual appointments are listed below.

Mikayla saw a list she had not hung up last night under the notice sheet. She scanned the page to find herself directly after Harry, her meeting at 2:45 meaning she'll miss the end of Arithmancy. Mikayla grabbed one of each leaflet, pamphlet and notice, putting them into her bag for when her friends arrive in the library to go through them together.

During the last week of Easter Break all the fifth years stopped their revision to explore the possibilities of their futures. The foursome were sat in the library going through leaflets, "Well I don't fancy Healing," Ron admitted on the last evening of the holidays. "It says here you need at least an 'E' at NEWT level in Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts. I mean.. blimey... don't want much, do they?" Mikayla chuckled lightly at Ron's discovery. Hermione reminds Ron that it's a very responsible job and informs them that there isn't many requirements to work in Muggle Relations. Mikayla was doing some reading about the possibility of jobs in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

"Ooh can I see that one M?" Hermione questioned once Mikayla finished taking notes on the requirements and duties of the jobs. "Sure." Mikayla smiled handing over the leaflet. Mikayla picked up the pamphlet for Potioneers, she began reading the requirements before she heard Ron's voice sound again. "Thinking about making SPEW real?" He laughs, Mikayla looked up from her pamphlet. "Ronald, some laws need to be changed. Hermione has the right idea about SPEW. House elves are slaves brainwashed into believing that they're weak and must serve wizards, when in reality, they are more powerful than wizards." Mikayla returned to her pamphlet, she could feel a happy smile on Hermione's face and a look of disbelief drawn upon Ron's. "Listen to this..." Harry called to his friends, "Are you seeking a challenging career involving travel, adventure, and substantial, danger-related treasure bonuses? Then consider a position with Gringotts Wizarding Bank, who are currently recruiting Curse-Breakers for thrilling opportunities abroad.... They want Arithmancy, though, you could do it, girls." "Can I see that Harry?" He handed her over the leaflet, Mikayla took down the requirements and responsibilities of the job, before handing it back to Harry. Hermione told them she wasn't really interested in banking.

"Hey." A familiar voice sounded making Mikayla jump slightly, as she looked up to see the Weasley twins had joined them. Mikayla scooted over to allow Fred to take a seat next to her. "Ginny's had a word with us about you.." Fred places his feet on the table making leaflets on jobs in the Ministry of Magic to fall on the floor. Mikayla gathered them up whilst George reveals that Harry wanted to talk to Sirius. Mikayla knew this information, so she wasn't as shocked as Hermione was when George blurted it out. Mikayla didn't pay attention to what was being said, she picked up a particular leaflet that made her feel like electric was zooming through her. Mikayla took a sharp breath in before collapsing into a vision.

Older me was in the Ministry of Magic, I looked at the newspaper date and it was 10th of August 2004. I spotted the headline:

Head of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Mikayla Black has passed a law today where Werewolves will go under an assessment process before being given permission to work in the Wizarding World. Once passed, they will receive the same wage as other wizards and will be offered at least three year contracts per job. Hermione Granger-Weasley, the Deputy of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, spoke to our source. "Mikayla and I have always been interested in changing how our world sees werewolves. We named the law after our third year DADA Professor, Remus Lupin, who is a dear friend and when we saw how the world treated him we knew it must change. We're also glad to announce that werewolves have been officially placed in the being division of our sector."

I looked at my 24 year-old self with pride, and I have to say, I will be one good looking woman. I looked around and noticed a slightly older McGonagall approaching my 24 year old self, she smiled greeting her old teacher with a hug. "Hello Minnie, how's the school doing?" McGonagall looked at Mikayla happily, "good good. How's Fred, and the kids?" Mikayla smiled happily, "well Fred and George's businesses is booming as usual before the school year begins. MJ just turned five and has already started showing some magical signs, Wes is loving the toddler lifestyle, I reckon he's going to be a troublemaker like his grandad, father and godfather when he's older. As for little Harry, he's starting to crawl, we most definitely have our hands full." Mikayla laughed as she showed McGonagall a picture of herself, Fred, Michelle, Wesley, and Harrison sitting in front of a fireplace with a birthday cake with the number 3 on it. "If I remember correctly you and trouble went hand in hand back in your day too, your kids didn't really stand a chance." Mikayla laughs, "I still blame all of that on Mr Potter, Minnie." Minerva smiled at Mikayla's thoughts.

"Now what is it that you wanted to meet me for?" McGonagall smirks shaking her head, "you always know when something is up.... I know you've been in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures for six years now. And you've done a great job." "Thank you." Mikayla smiled. "I was hoping that you would come back to Hogwarts and teach Charms. Professor Flitwick wants to retire. And you said during your career advice session that you'd be willing to come back and teach." Mikayla looked at McGonagall stunned at the question. "I'd love to Minerva." McGonagall clapped happily.

"Perfect. Would you consider being the head of house for Gryffindor?" Mikayla looked like she was about to cry, "of course I will Minerva. But who is taking over Ravenclaw headship?" "Talbott Winger, he took over Transfiguration when I became Headmistress." Mikayla nodded understandingly, "well you can count me in. Although I don't know if it'll be wise for me to live there. I will just Apparate into Hogsmeade every morning since I can't leave Fred with the three kids at home for months on end." McGonagall smiles nodding, "we'll sort that all out later. Can you be at the castle on the 20th for a staff meeting and bring Fred with you, since it's a decision you should make together?" Mikayla nods and I was soon is blinded by a light.
