Surprisingly enough Mikayla was gifted with a dreamless sleep on her first day off work, allowing her to sleep until 11 am. No nightmares, no tears, no screams, just good old fashioned plainness. Mikayla stretches her sleepy body awake, the feeling of waking her tired muscles was euphoric, as her body shook slightly. "Morning M." Avery's voice comes from the ground, Mikayla furrowed her eyebrows together, sitting up in her bed and tilting her head to the left looking at Avery curiously, "Morning Av, whatcha doing down there?" Avery looked up from the ground at her sister, "I was warm, the floor was cold." Avery shrugged getting up off the ground and sitting down laying down on Mikayla's bed. "You don't know what to do anymore now that you're working." Mikayla stated evaluating her sisters behaviour, "well actually, I just worrying about the trial, seeing my old friends there and my dad." Avery spoke her last word with a shiver. Mikayla gave her sister a bear hug and a kiss on a cheek, "I'll be there every step of the way, holding your hand." Mikayla told her sister, in an attempt of comforting the brunette. "No, it's bonding time with the Weasley kids." Mikayla claps as she hops off her bed, Avery groans before following the blonde's statement.

The pair get showered and dressed before entering the kitchen for the first time that day, Mikayla a little surprised to see Arthur home, as it's a Saturday and he's usually at work. "Morning all." Mikayla smiles as she takes a seat next to Ginny and across from Ron, the others mumbled their mumbles in low voices. The table was silent which was picking away at Mikayla's patient and fuse, "what's going on? You're all so quiet." She questions as she reads the room, no one answers her, she watched as Ron and Ginny dodged her stern looks by dramatically turning their heads. Mikayla huffed in response to the actions of the Weasleys, she crosses her arms over her chest and leans into her chair, even she knew she was acting extremely childish but right now she didn't care about being mature. Mikayla saw a paper on the table with the headline, 'IS MIKAYLA BLACK A DEATH EATER?' Mikayla's eyes widened as she grabbed the paper before Mr Weasley could stop her. She looked at a side by side photo of her at the Ministry and on the Millennium Bridge. Mikayla stood up making her way outside and to the large Oak Tree that has provided her a lot of comfort over the last few years. She opens up the Daily Prophet to the article written about her.

During the last five years, Mikayla Black has become a good friend of The Boy-Who-Lived, aka Harry Potter, but rumours have been circulating since the arrest of step-father Fergal O'Brien. The young girl has faced terrible things during the past 15 years and it's gotten us at the Prophet curious behind the girl's motives to befriend the Boy-Who-Lived. Until recently, Miss Black believed that her father was a big supporter of the dark wizard, He Who Must Not Be Named, which leaves the Wizarding community to wonder if she was working with her step-father to get close to Harry Potter and lead him to this death by the Dark Wizard. Mikayla Black has been present or in the middle of most of the attacks on Mr Potter, since their first year in Hogwarts, attacks such as the Murder of Cedric Diggory (Miss Black's Boyfriend at the time), her biological father, Sirius Black, and almost lead to her own death many times, and Miss Black was present at the attack of Millennium Bridge days ago. Which begs the question is Mikayla Black a Death Eater or is she being targeted by the group of Dark Wizards under You-Know-Who orders?
Here at the Prophet, we've considered both sides of this question and have decided to leave it up to the public to decide. As we now know, Mikayla Black has had a very rough life so far, with being abused from a young age by her step-father, the loss of her mother, Enya Carra, the loss of Cedric Diggory, and the recent loss of her father, Sirius Black. All this trauma could've resulted in the young girl joining the fight on the side of the Death Eaters, or it could've fuelled her into becoming a strong young woman that is going to bring the end of these dark times making her a target of You-Know-Who. We reached out to people who have known Mikayla for years on their take on our question, most people have responded that Miss Black is 'on the right side of history' and 'will fight for what's right until the day she dies'. Others say that they wouldn't be surprised that she turned to the dark side after how much she has had to face over the last few years but no one could find something that put the young girl at fault. "Mikayla has always fought for what's right, even when it got her hurt, she's completely selfless and one day she'll change the world for the better." A classmate who requested to stay anonymous had to say about the young blonde, "she saved my life once and she did it almost like it was a reflex." another one of her classmates said.
"Mikayla has always treated all magical creatures as equals even when she was ridiculed for it, I know she'll do great things in the future. I know because I grew up with her." Mikayla's ex house-elf Peppy, spoke up for her ex-mistress, who she freed after her mother passed. "Mikayla is extremely strong, she risked her life to save all those muggles because she believes that all life is precious. I think that her loss has helped guide her to the fight for what's right." A wizard that witnessed what happened at the Millennium bridge, overheard the young witch telling her step-sister, Avery O'Brien, that she had saw that Death Eater were going to attack the bridge with her Aevus Seer abilities and the two girls came up with a plan to save those who couldn't make it off the bridge. "Mikayla Black, alongside her sister Avery, saved my life and delivered my baby triplets on a raft in the middle of the Thames. They didn't care if they were going to get in trouble for using magic outside school, because they believed saving muggles from magical attacks was more important. If anything, Mikayla Black is the definition of Anti-Death Eater, without her and her sister, I wouldn't be alive and neither would my babies." Beth Ryan aka Beth Brown, ex-Seeker of the Holyhead Harpies, spoke to journalist when asked to give an account about her interaction with the young witch. So there you have it folks, is Mikayla Black a Death Eater? No, she's a protector of all creatures, and wizards alike.

Mikayla's eyebrows furrowed this doesn't explain why the Weasleys were acting so strange, Mikayla then see another title that might give her explanation... FERGAL O'BRIEN THREATENS TO KILL MIKAYLA BLACK!

Fergal O'Brien speaks to the press about his up and coming trial, where he is being charged for being a child abuser and Death Eater. "My legal team has informed me that my daughter Avery and ex-step-daughter will be testifying against me, they informed me that the girls will be showing the court their memories instead of speaking. I never realised I raised such cowards." Fergal begins, "I know that my daughter is just following the lead of Mikayla Black and I'm sure that Avery was forced by that muggle-loving Dumbledore to testify against me. I hope that Avery comes to her senses and fights on the right side of the war that is coming. As for Mikayla, I know that she'll do anything to protect her friends like her dead blood-traitor mother and father, not that it saved them and I can only hope that she falls to the same faith, and I can only dream that it'll be under my hand."
Fergal's lawyers then interrupted the interview, saying that their client didn't mean to make a threat against the young witch but Fergal told our journalist that he meant every word, "I'm going to kill her, I'm going to torture her and watch her plead for her life and then I will murder her. The filthy muggle and creature-loving blood-traitor! I'LL KILL HER WITH MY BARE HANDS!" O'Brien was then escorted back to his cell, Miss Black hasn't been asked her her take on this threat under Headmaster Dumbledore's orders, reminding the Wizarding World that young Black "isn't even sixteen yet," and to "let her grieve the loss of her father in peace." The recording of this interview will be played during O'Brien's trial as evidence of his ways.

Mikayla folded the paper and sighed, "anything good in there?" Avery asks as she takes a seat next to her sister under the Oak Tree. "Oh you know, there's a story on whether I'm a Death Eater or not.." Mikayla argues with her self in her mind on whether she should mention the threat but decided it's best that Avery is warned as they'll hear it in court, "and a written threat by Fergal." "What?" Avery grabs the paper off the blonde, reading the article of Fergal's threat. She rips the paper in two out of anger of her father's threat, "he's going to rot in hell, me a coward?" Avery grumbles angrily, Mikayla placed a comforting hand on Avery's shoulder, "are you ok?" Avery turns to Mikayla worried, Mikayla smiled and nodded before shrugging, "Fergal doesn't scare me anymore, I'm not a defenceless little girl anymore, if he wants to try to kill me then he should be prepared to go down with me. Because there's no way in hell that I'm going to let him live and torture you." Avery had tears brimming in her eyes, Mikayla cupped her sister's face, "hey, hey. Everything is going to be okay, ok, I promise." Avery nodded sadly, before she lowered her head to Mikayla's legs, Mikayla played with Avery's hair comforting the brunette, the only way she knew how... by being there for her.

The girls stayed where they were for an hour before finally deciding to join the Weasleys.
