Mikayla stood next to Ginny aiding her when some smart arse said he couldn't see the gas, "do you see air?" Mikayla questioned him and he shook his head, "but you don't question it's lack of existence, why?" "Because it's colourless." The boys spoke defensively, "yeah because it's colourless like this batch of Garroting Gas." He looked quite upset at how the two older girls spoke to him like he was an idiot. The students cleared out, Harry and Hermione passed and ensure the girls knew the signal. Mikayla took a deep breath before smiling at Ginny, "if he is in the Department of Mysteries, we're going to save him... Ginny mind if I hold onto your shoulder?" Ginny shook her head no, telling Mikayla to go for it. Mikayla smiled before taking a sharp breath.
She saw a room that was made of black stone, a black archway stood in the middle of the room, inside that archway was whispy cloak like air, and Mikayla could hear whispers coming from the arch. She watches as Harry, her and Sirius fight off three death eaters, once the they do, Fergal appears behind them and hits Sirius with a Killing Curse. "NOOOOO!" Mikayla yelled, before feeling herself being grabbed, pulling out of her vision.
"Get your slimy hands on me Malfoy." Mikayla struggled, Neville attempted to come to her aid but he too was grabbed. Luna, Ginny, Ron, Neville and Mikayla were led into Umbridge's office by the Inquisitorial Squad. "Why are you doing this?" Mikayla acted innocent as she was being pulled, "don't act like you weren't keeping guard for Granger and Potter." Draco scoffed to which Mikayla told she had no idea what he was talking about and that she was just having a Vision, "Yeah right, Wormy." Pansy snorts, Mikayla goes to swing at the Slytherin girl but was interrupted being pushed into Umbridge's office.
"Got 'em all," Warrington said in a deep, but dumb voice, he shoved Ron forward into the room, he stumbled on his own feet. "That one." he pointed one of his fat fingers at Neville, "tried to stop me taking those two," he informed Umbridge whilst pointing at Draco holding onto Mikayla and Pansy holding onto Ginny. Ginny was trying to kick the shins off Pansy, Mikayla was trying to shake free from Draco, "so I brought him along too." Warrington finished. "Good, good," said Umbridge, her eyes flickered over Mikayla and Ginny struggling. "Well, it looks as though Hogwarts will shortly be a Weasley-free zone, doesn't it?" Umbridge laughs, "finally," Malfoy's voice rang in Mikayla's ear. She began to try even harder to free herself, or at least land a blow on him.
Umbridge settled herself into a large, pink, plush armchair and smiled ever so sweetly. "So, Potter," she said, her finger tapping on the armrest. "You stationed lookouts around my office and you sent this buffoon," she gestured to Ron, Malfoy let out a loud laugh at that. "to tell me the poltergeist was wreaking havoc in the Transfiguration department when I knew perfectly well that he was busy smearing ink on the eyepieces of all the school telescopes, Mr. Filch having just informed me so." "Clearly," she continued, "it was very important for you to talk to somebody. Was it Albus Dumbledore? Or the half-breed, Hagrid? I doubt it was Minerva McGonagall, I hear she is still too ill to talk to anyone..." Harry looked filled to the brim with hatred. "It's none of your business who I talk to," he snapped at her. "Very well," she said very sternly, her eyes throwing darts at him. "Very well, Mr. Potter... I offered you the chance to tell me freely. You refused. I have no alternative but to force you. Draco - fetch Professor Snape." Malfoy passed Mikayla off to another Slytherin like she was some garbage sack he couldn't find the effort to throw away himself. Mikayla spun around to see who had a hold on her, to see Avery who slyly sent the blonde a wink. Mikayla spun around again watching Malfoy leave the room smirking at Harry, but Harry was not looking at him. Avery's grip on her was barely there, she had no hold on Mikayla whatsoever, if she wanted to escape all Avery could do to stop her was to pinch her, but Mikayla didn't want to get her sister in trouble with Umbridge.
Across the room, Mikayla could see Ron's lip bleeding onto the pink carpet. And Ginny was still trying to cause some harm to Pansy on Mikayla's left. Harry kept a straight face, not breaking eye contact with Umbridge. Footsteps outside the door became increasingly louder, but Harry still did not waver. Draco reentered the officer, he held the door open for Professor Snape, a smirk on his face as Snape entered and assessed the scene. "You wanted to see me, Headmistress?" Snape said, glancing at each of them, struggling in someone else's grasp but Mikayla. "Ah, Professor Snape," said Umbridge, she smiled pleasantly and rose from her armchair. "Yes, I would like another bottle of Veritaserum, as quick as you can, please." "You took my last bottle to interrogate Potter," he stated, watching her with the same indifferent stare he held with them during Potions. "Surely you did not use it all? I told you that three drops would be sufficient." Umbridge flushed. "You can make some more, can't you?" it sounded more of a demand than a question, her voice raised in pitch, the way it tends to when she is furious. "Certainly, It takes a full moon cycle to mature, so I should have it ready for you in around a month." "A month?" gawked Umbridge, "A month? But I need it this evening, Snape! I have just found Potter using my fire to communicate with a person or persons unknown!"
"Really?" Snape said, he looked to Harry, his first real sign of interest in this conversation on his face "Well, it doesn't surprise me. Potter has never shown much inclination to follow school rules." Harry stared hard back at Snape. "I wish to interrogate him!" Umbridge shouted, losing the temper she had regained moments ago. Snape turned away from facing Harry back to Umbridge. "I wish you to provide me with a potion that will force him to tell me the truth!" "I have already told you," said Snape simply, "that I have no further stocks of Veritaserum. Unless you wish to poison Potter- and I assure you I would have the greatest sympathy with you if you did- I cannot help you. The only trouble is that most venoms act too fast to give the victim much time for truth-telling..." Snape looked back toward Harry, whose eyes were now pleading with him, trying to tell him what was happening without using the words. "You are on probation!" Professor Umbridge shrieked at him, Snape looked back at her, his eyebrows slightly raised, but he was not overly surprised. "You are being deliberately unhelpful! I expected better, Lucius Malfoy always speaks most highly of you! Now get out of my office!" Snape tilted himself forward in kind of a forced bow and turned to leave the room.
Just before he reached the door Harry began shouting, "He's got Padfoot!" he said desperately. "He's got Padfoot at the place where it's hidden!" Mikayla's breath hitched in her throat remembering her vision. Snape ceased his movement, his hand partially through turning the door handle. "Padfoot?" demanded Professor Umbridge, her eyes flickering between Harry and Snape. "What is Padfoot? Where what is hidden? What does he mean, Snape?" Snape looked back from the door. Mikayla tried to read his face for any indication that he understood Harry, but there was none. She couldn't be sure whether he was just masking his realisation in front of Umbridge or if he truly did not understand what Harry was saying. "I have no idea," Snape answered coldly. "Potter, when I want nonsense shouted at me I shall give you a Babbling Beverage. And Crabbe, loosen your hold a little, if Longbottom suffocates it will mean a lot of tedious paperwork, and I am afraid I shall have to mention it on your reference if ever you apply for a job." He exited the room and the lock snapped into place as the door closed. Mikayla looked over at Neville, to see him turning purple, all because he tried to help Mikayla and Ginny, she looked back at Harry who now looked completely hopeless.
