The next day May began and Mikayla woke up in the hospital wing being shook violently, she opened her eyes to see a smirking Umbridge. "You no longer have detentions this week, I think you've learned your lesson." Mikayla nodded, "yes headmistress." Umbridge smiled delighted at the sight of Mikayla's broken skin from where she was bleeding the night before. "I expect you to be in classes from Transfigurations today. You have three hours." Mikayla accepted Umbridge's rule politely. The teacher left and Mikayla looked around the hospital wing, once the door closed Madam Pomfrey appeared from her office.

"ThReE hOuRs?!" Madam Pomfrey panicked as Mikayla filled her in on what Umbridge said. "Well, your potion has worked. Your back is completely healed but it might still be a bit tender..." Pomfrey informed Mikayla, the blonde smiled thanking the matron. "Now I've decided that just wrapping bandages on her hands and glue your busted lip to keep Umbridge off your Potioneer trail." Mikayla smiled thanking her once again, "about your potion, I only used one vial but you have forty left." Mikayla nodded knowing this as true. "You can keep thirty-five vials, the potions works on pretty much anything. It's one drop for every 3.4 cubic centimetres, there's twenty drops in a vial, and you need to rub it to activate it." Mikayla informed the matron, who beamed at the information that she has been permitted to keep the majority of the potion. "And if you need more, go to Professor Snape, he knows the recipe." Madam Pomfrey nods, "how did you come up with the name?" Mikayla smiled at the healers question, "Carra was my mother's maiden name, and Curatio is Latin for treatment." Pomfrey smiled, "alright I'm going to change your dressings and then you can be on your way." Mikayla nodded to indicate she understood the plan.

In the days to follow the flight of the Weasley twins was more talked about than anything. There had even been the occasional talk of other students jumping on their brooms and taking off, it might as well be put in the history books as "pulling a Weasley" with how often those exact words have been used. And being themselves, the twins wanted to extend their memorable departure for as long as they could, so they left no instructions on how to clear away their Portable Swamps. So now the east wing corridor on the fifth floor is a whole new terrain, complete with its own ecosystem of frogs and flies.

Despite Umbridge's efforts, and whatever Filch could do to aid without any magical ability, the Swamp remained unchanged and was eventually roped off. But as the corridor needs to be in use for students to get to their lessons each and every day, much to his dismay, Filch was tasked with helping the students across. There was no doubt that a number of Professors, especially Flitwick and McGonagall, could remove it in a heartbeat. But just as in the case of Fred and George's Wildfire Whiz-bangs, they seemed to prefer to watch Umbridge struggle. It was rather amusing though, and anything that brought discomfort of anger to Umbridge was a joy to the rest of the school, so the swamp stayed.

Also, after the broom stick smashed its ways right through Umbridge's office door and a new door was replaced onto the entrance, Harry's and Mikayla's brooms got moved to the dungeons, where, it was rumored an armed security troll was guarding them. Mikayla found this quite amusing that Umbridge was so afraid that there would be a student revolt.

Many students were inspired by Fred and George's example, a great number of them were now competing for the newly vacant positions of Troublemakers-in-Chief. In spite of the new door, someone has managed to slip in a hairy-snouted Niffler into Umbridge's office. The Niffler tore the office apart in its search for shiny objects, it jumped on Umbridge when she entered the office trying to gnaw her rings off her stubby fingers. Dungbombs and Stink Pellets were dropped so frequently in the corridors that it has become a new fashion for students to use the Bubble-Head Charms before leaving lessons to ensure fresh air. Filch prowled the corridors horsewhip in hand, desperate to catch the culprits of this smelly mess. The problem was there was so many students behind it, that he didn't know where to look.

The Inquisitoral Squad tried to help him but Mikayla made it her mission to get back at them for her detention. Mikayla spotted Warrington alone walking along the Charms corridor, she hid behind a suit of armour before whispering, "Frumentum Pellis.." She watched as Warrington screamed with a high-pitched tone before running off to the hospital wing. "Lumos... Nox" Mikayla spelled so that she could hide her last spell, deleting any proof of her wrongdoings. Mikayla spotted Pansy hanging out with Avery by the lake and whispered the incantation, "Anteoculatia." causing Pansy to grow antlers. Mikayla thought it was a good callback to their duel in second year when Pansy tried hit Mikayla but Mikayla reversed the spell back on her.

Meanwhile, it became very clear just how many Shiving Snackboxes Fred and George had managed to sell before leaving Hogwarts. Umbridge only had to enter her classroom for the students assembled there to faint, vomit, develop dangerous fevers or else spout blood from both nostrils. Shrieking with rage and frustration, she attempted to trace the mysterious symptoms to their source, but the students told her they were simply suffering from Umbridge-itis'. After putting four successive classes in detention and failing to discover their secret, she was forced to give up and allow the bleeding, swooning, sweating and vomiting students to leave her classes in a herd.

But none of the users of the Snackboxes could compare to the master of chaos, Peeves, who seemed to have taken Fred's parting words deeply to heart. He was cackling madly, soaring through the castle, flipping tables, bursting out of blackboards, toppling statues and vases; he trapped Mrs Norris in a suit of armour twice. Peeves smashed lanterns and snuffed out candles, juggled burning torches over the heads of screaming students, caused neatly stacked piles of parchment to topple into fires or out of windows. He flooded the second floor, dropped a bag of tarantulas in the middle of the Great Hall during breakfast, Mikayla has never seen Ron moved so quickly to get out of the room.

A week after the twins had left, Mikayla and Harry witnessed McGonagall walking right past Peeves, who was determinedly loosening a crystal chandelier, and could have sworn they heard her tell the poltergeist out of the corner of her mouth, "it unscrews the other way."
