Melissa cleared her throat as she walked in Katie's trailer to find the two of you hugging. She felt like she had intruded in such an intimate moment but it was necessary. Katie was needed back on set.
"I'm sorry for barging in but you're needed back on set."
Katie looks down at you as she pulled away from the hug.
"Are you going to be alright alone?"
You nod and give her a teary smile.
"Yeah, you have work to do. I should head home anyways."
"(y/n), I can just give them an excuse that I can't make it."
Katie whispers to you, not wanting for Melissa to hear.
"No, it's fine. I promise. As long as you come over for some drinks, I'll be fine."
"Alright, but promise me to call me if you need anything."
You nod and give her another hug as you stand up and make your way out of the trailer. Saying a quick hi and goodbye to Melissa as she passes by her.
"Is she okay?"
"Yeah, just some trouble with an ex."

"Is that (y/n)'s clothes?"
"huh? Oh, yeah! I stayed over at her place and woke up too late to be able to stop at my apartment."
"I hear that something happened with (y/n), is she okay?"
"Yeah, her ex just broke up with her and she was a little upset about it."
"a little? I thought they've been dating a year now. That's serious."
"It's kind of complicated Nicole, she says that she's not sad to see her go but she's upset that she let the relationship continue for so long when she knew that her ex was cheating on her."
Nicole almost spits out her drink when she hears the new information.
"Why the hell did she stay with her ex?"
Katie's name is called to go back on set so she doesn't have a chance to explain.
"Like I said, it was complicated but she's fine. I have to go. Maybe we can talk about this later."

Andrea gave the two of you an incredulous stare as she watched Katie hand over the pancake to you that she asked for not even two minutes ago.
"Oh, you have go to be kidding me."
She mumbled as you gave her a teasing grin.
"I'll give you half, if you want."
"Oh no. I'm order another set. You're paying, Katie. Can't believe you gave it to her when I asked for it first."
