Bakugou POV

I followed behind as Izuku led the way. I was in awe at everything. It was crowded, even though it was early in the morning, but I didn't mind. There was a sense of livelihood that flooded the streets. Although none of the stalls were even comparable to the castle rooms, the way everyone talked and looked, it was the new feeling of curiosity that swelled in my heart. Izuku was right, there were stalls of all kinds. Izuku made sure to hold my hand with one hand and hold the groceries on the other. I felt like a child yet again.

I followed Izuku as he squeezed through ally ways and people. I had never been in such narrow spaces before, but Izuku looked like a professional. It was a lovely place, other than...some parts. There was this one stall that had a sale on a few fruits, and when I saw it was like a dog fight, except with humans, I'm not kidding. It was the first time I had seen Izuku actually be aggressive with anything. I couldn't help but laugh at the barbaric behavior of the crowd.

I got a few stares since Izuku had to hold my hand wherever we went so I didn't get lost, but other than that it was all fine. At one point we had to go to a flower store since Izuku said we were running out of decorative bouquets.

Izuku POV

I looked back at Bakaugou every once in a while. He looked like a puppy following his owner. I kept looking back at him and alas our eyes met. His crimson red orbs connected with mine, and I didn't fail to notice the smug smile on his face. I quickly turned around and continued to walk. I could feel Bakugou's hands squeeze mine every time he saw something he likes or didn't.

And you said you weren't cute.

After a literal battle with middle-aged moms, I finally got the fruits we needed and headed towards the flower shop. I told Bakugou he could freely roam here, of course before warning him to not gain any attention and let him go. I could've sworn he had the soul of a puppy at that point.

Aster's, Azaleas, Lillies, Violets, Poppies, there were so many different types of flowers. I picked out a few that I thought looked nice and went to get Bakugou.

"Bakugou, le...ts go," I made sure to stop my voice from being heard.

My eyes widened at the sight. It was usually Bakugou who called me beautiful, or mesmerizing, but right now I saw the same predicament on him. He was looking up at a flower crown, the sun gazing upon his intricate features. His eyes not faltering from the crown of flowers, and although only a portion of his face was seen through the hood, it was absolutely bewitching. A few strands of his golden locks covered his forehead, and the most serene expression was present on his face. There was warmth and imperfect perfection radiating from him. At that moment my eyes had seemingly sworn to look at nothing but the divine existence in front of me.

"Izuku, you're here, did you get everything?" I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Bakugou call out to me.

"O-oh yeah, did you want anything," I asked, knowing that he clearly wanted the flower crown.

"Nah, I'll wait for you outside," he said and walked out pulling on the rim of his hood once more before leaving.

I walked over to where he was standing and took the flowers and the flower crown before paying for both of them.

"Let's go Bakugou we have to head back," I stated before grabbing on to a whining Bakugou and walking back to the castle.

We walked towards the castle, but I pulled both of us behind a tree.

"What happened Izu," he asked.

"Nothing, just close your eyes," I asked."And no peeping"

"S-sure," He said hesitantly but did it anyway.

I pulled out the flower crown after making sure Bakugou had his eyes closed.

"There," I huffed after reaching up to put the crown on his head.

Bakugou opened his eyes after hearing Izuku's victorious huff.

"When did you, wait did you buy this," he asked, happiness and worry in his voice.

"I saw that you liked it, so I got it for you!" Izuku smiled while talking.

"B-but didn't you only get enough money for the groceries unless...wait but you should've spent that money on yourself it's you-" Izuku cut Bakugou off, shaking his head at Bakugou's worries.

"So what if I wanted to spend it on you, now just accept it, or throw it away," Izuku declared, determined.

Bakugou chuckled at Izuku, his arms by his side, his head hanging down in defeat.

"You know, fine, I'll keep it," Bakugou sighed in defeat.

"Well we should get going, We're quite late," Izuku rushed, after softly giggling at Bakugou's defeat, and Bakugou pulled his hood on.

Toga POV

Where is Izuku? He was supposed to be back fifteen minutes ago. I didn't think it would be that crowded so early in the morning.

I couldn't take it anymore. I decided I'd ask the morning guard when he left, or if he arrived yet. Turns out it didn't need to come to that.

I saw Izuku come back, I almost walked towards him, but then I saw a dark figure come behind him.

Who is he? I figured it was a boy based on his figure. That's when I saw it. A small, but it was there, a glimpse of his face. Well, not really, but I saw deep red eyes and ash-blonde hair. It didn't take me long to figure out which infamous person was behind the hood.

But why would the prince go out with Izuku?

Izuku POV

I laid in my bed, my eyes wandering out my window at the dozens of stars outside. My mind was still crowding with thoughts about a specific boy. I couldn't help but smile every once in a while as I remembered today's incidents and the previous incidents. I didn't think I'd ever been this happy in a very long time. Every day spent with Bakugou was gleeful, and lovable. Through these memories, I couldn't help but think about a certain moment. The day at the roof. The day when Bakugou told me he loved me for the second time. And I...didn't have an answer.

"Hey, Izuku, I love you, no matter what." he made a soft confession and looked towards where I was staring.

I took a few seconds to digest what Bakugou had just said.

"Hey, Bakugou,"

He hummed as an answer.

"Wait, for me, please."

His eyes widened at my statement, he couldn't help but smile at me.

RIght, now, the joy I felt spending time with him, the way I noticed all of his actions, and the way my heart grew with sadness when I had to say goodbye. It reminded me of a quote from a book I read as a child, "How Lucky I Am To Have Something That Makes Saying Goodbye So Hard." and at that moment I knew that the answer I lacked the answer to then, it had finally come to me. I knew my wait had come to end. I finally understood and accepted the feeling in my heart.

I, Izuku Midoriya, loved Katsuki Bakugou.
