Chapter 1

We had been in Colorado for a month now and I was still getting used to the fact that I started real life school tomorrow ever since the incident I had been terrified to go anywhere by myself but I had to face my fears I looked at my classes musical theatre drama choir Spanish English maths science and gym they were all my classes I was scared to see what my life would be like I didn't want anyone to find out I set my alarm for the morning and went to sleep. She woke up extra early so that she could take her time in preparing herself. As soon as she woke up she meditated something she was told to do whenever she was stressed or nervous. After a while she changed, fixed her hair and packed her bag. "Sierra! Come down! It's time for school!" Her mom called. "I'm coming mom!" She replied, she got her bag and ran downstairs. She was usually excited for the first day of school, but she's going to a new school now. A school where she didn't know anyone since her sisters still went to her old school.

"Mom I'm kinda nervous" I said getting into the car as she stared the engine "Sierra you will be fine stop panicking" she said which made me even more nervous we drove for twenty minutes and reached my new school "by darling have a nice day" my mom said and kissed me on the forehead I got out the car and walked to reception "Hi I'm Sierra Boggess new student" I said to one of the lady's working their "Ah yes if you could wait their for a second a pupil will come and collect you." she said as I sat down and waited a pupil oh no ok Sierra it's fine find you happy place deep breath's I was waiting for the person who will 'collect' me. I saw a group of people just walk in but I thought they were just there to ask a question or something but they were walking towards her direction. Oh no. "Hi, do you happen to be Sierra Boggess?" One of them asked while the others were waving at me. "Uhm.. yes that's me. I'm Sierra Boggess." I said with a smile. "Hi Sierra I'm Hadley'' the blonde one said enthusiastically "that's Mandy" he said pointing to the really pretty girl with black hair "That's Tam." he had nice blue eyes ''And that omg Mandy where is Ramin?" he asked her she shrugged that's when I heard footsteps running down the hall I gripped the bottom of my shirt and focused on my breath "Sorry you guys ah so this is Sierra I'm guessing." the guy with a cute accent said I nodded my head "Nice to meet you its break now so if you don't mind we can all compare classes and see if your in any of ours." he said I nodded "quiet one" the guy with blue eyes Whispered to the blonde haired guy.

I tried not to get offended by what he said. I just wanted things to go back to normal. I just wanted to be the same old happy girl. I guess I could here. Nobody knows me, so I can change myself. I told myself and gathered all my confidence. "I'm sorry, I was just nervous." I explained. "No need to be nervous, we're all students here too." Mandy said. "Oh here's my schedule if you'd like to check it." I stood up and handed it to them. They all crowded round the piece of paper Mandy shook her head "Sorry we don't have any classes together." she told me then I think it was Tam "We have science together." he told me which made me happy at least I knew someone then Hadley? "We have drama and maths together." he beamed and then ramen Raheem Ramen Ramin Ramin that's how you said it I thought "Wow we have the exact same classes at the exact same time in the same room." he said handing the paper back to me "Cool so what do we do now?" I asked "So basically today our first period is like finding your classroom or giving tours to new students we were assigned to.." Mandy explained. "We were assigned to you, so let's go have a tour shall we." He said he seemed like a very joyful person. "We shall!" I replied with all my confidence. We walked down the halls where we found the lockers. "Oh! Did you find your locker already?" Mandy Asked. "umm.. no not yet." I said. "What's your locker number? We can help you find it." Tam said "umm.. it's 308A" I said. Then we looked for the locker. "Here it is!" Mandy said so we went to her. I placed some of my stuff in then we continued the tour.

"Are you kidding I have to be locker buddies with the new girl." I heard one of the boys say I felt offended but they were definitely joking I think I wasn't sure "This is the cafeteria our table is that one over their Ramin will walk with you to Lunch you can sit with us." Hadley told me "Thanks you guys that's really nice of you." I said "and this is our first class." Ramin said as we stopped and the rest kept walking they waved at me bye and I waved back "Which class is this Ramin?" I asked as more girls came around the door "English" he said "umm Ramin can I sit next to you your the only person I know?" I asked timidly he nodded "Thanks"
