Chapter 12

"It's about nothing." He said. "I'm not moving until you tell me." I said so he started dragging me to the classroom. "Come on just tell me what it's about." I said as we arrived in the classroom "Something you don't need to know." He said. "Ramin stop being annoying and just tell me. I won't tell anyone I promise." I said "ummm" "Ramin pleaseee!" I said giving him puppy eyes. "Right class today." seriously the teacher interrupted us again but I think this was going to be about the big assignment that we had to do for two months "Today you will be put into pairs and have to select a song to sing this will be worth half of your grade for this term" she said what half the grade Jesus "So everyone get into pairs immediately all the girls crowded around ramin but he pushed through them and walked to me "Hey partner!" he said "Hello!" I replied eventually all the others paired up and we got handed the criteria we read through it in that lesson "must be an appropriate song" Ramin read out from the piece of paper

"Well who would even sing an inappropriate song?" I whispered. "Okay, that's all for today. The next few weeks you can use our period to practice." The teacher said. I sat back on my chair and immediately got tired again. "We didn't really do anything and you're already tired." He said "I think it's from Math and English." I said then we both laughed. We went to the cafeteria where we met with the others for lunch. "Hey guys!" I said and sat down whilst getting you guessed it a smoothie out of my bag "Hmm let me guess strawberry raspberry and uhh banana." Ramin guessed "Yeah how did you know that? " I asked he tapped his head "Sierra are you still up for our coffee later" Tam asked shoot I completely forgot about that "Yeah." I nodded and he smiled at me during lunch we all talked about if we could have one superpower what would it be it was a very fun conversation and then the bell rang and lunch ended time for drama. "Ugh come on you two your so slow." I said to Ramin and Hadley then I realized it would be a good idea to ask them what I was asking earlier. "Sooo this seems like a good time for both of you to tell me what you were talking about earlier." I said with a big smile. Suddenly Ramin started walking faster and so did Hadley. "You were talking bad about me weren't you." I said then speed walked to the drama classroom.

"Hey I still want an answer from you both your my best friends" I said as we arrived at drama class all we really did was sit and watch a movie "Hadley can you please tell me why Ramin is acting like strange whenever I ask what you guys were talking about in Math he's been off ever since I went to his house on Friday two weeks ago." I told him "Sierra I really wish I could but I want to make it out of school alive today he will tell you in his own time I can promise you that because If he doesn't he owes me twenty bucks." he said "okay" I said and watched the rest of the movie as I walked out of class.

Tam met me at the door "Hey Sierra are you ready to go now?" he asked and I nodded "Okay then." he said and grabbed my hand which felt a little strange. We walked to Starbucks and I got the same thing I did this morning. Hanging out with him was very fun. We talked about a lot of random stuff, we also told a lot of jokes and talked about school. Time flew by pretty quickly because the next thing you know he grabbed my hand again as we went back to school. I'm not gonna lie but I think there was a part where I blushed just a little bit. Once we arrived back at school he let go of my hand which was kinda rude but I guess it was reasonable. "Where did you guys go?" Hadley asked. "Oh we just went to Starbucks for some coffee." I said and he suddenly glanced at Ramin. This was getting really strange.

"Thanks Tam I'll see you around then." I told him as I walked to my locker "Yeah have a nice evening Sierra." he called I put the rest of the things into my locker when it slammed shut "I want all the details right now." Mandy asked "Well he took me out to coffee and we made jokes had a really nice time he's a nice guy." I said and she squealed "What?" I asked "Nothing come on I'll walk you out." she said and we went together I was smiling like an idiot when I got home and ran straight up to my room my sisters burst through the door

"What's got you all giggly Sierra?" Summer asked. "Is it Ramin again?" Allegra asked. "Nope." I said with a big smile. "Then who is it?" Allegra asked. "Is there someone else?" Summer said and I nodded my head. "Well, who is it?" They asked. "It's Tam, my other friend." I said. "You have another 'friend' that's a boy other than Ramin." Summer said in shock. "So that means you're cheating on Ramin?" Allegra asked. "Cheating? For the last time we're just friends Allegra." I said "Yeah, right they are friends." Summer said sarcastically. "What Ramin doesn't even like me in that way he would have asked me out by now but Tam he's so nice and sweet and funny and kind." I went off on a tangent "I don't get it." Allegra said "Don't get what?" I asked "Sierra I don't doubt that Tam is everything you say he is but it's just." Summer started "Just what?" I asked "Never mind tell us what happened then." they said in unison "Well he took me out to Starbucks and held my hand the whole time I think I blushed when he said something I can't remember what though oh and he had the cutest smile and-" my phone started ringing "Hold on its Ramin." I told my sisters.

"What do you want Karimloo?" I asked. "Nothing, I just wanted to check up on you." He said. "And why is that?" I asked him. "Ummm.." he said. "Do you want anything from me?" I asked him. "I just wanted to ask how did your hangout with Tam go?" He asked. "It was good. Why do you want to know?" I asked him. "Just curious wanted to see if you were feeling okay about the theatre assignment as well." he asked "Yeah I can't wait to choose the song and the hangout was fine Ramin I promise. " I told him "Ok then do you want to maybe.." he started "You know what never mind have a nice evening Sierra." he said "Night Ramin." and I hung up the phone my sisters were dying of something "Omg that was so adorable. " Allegra spoke up "That was weird... he's been acting off since I went to his house. Do you think he hates me because of my panic attack?" I started worrying. "Sierra, nobody would hate you if you panic." Summer said. "No, he would because he doesn't know what happened and I can't just tell him. Because he he mi- might hate me. Not just him but everyone else in school." I said. "He won't Sierra, maybe he's just jealous." Allegra suggested. "Don't be crazy, he's not jealous because he doesn't like me that way." I said "How do you know that Sierra '' she said again "because he hasn't asked me out anywhere he doesn't like do anything we are just really good friends'' I said "Oh my god how blind are you Sierra? He invited you round, he lets you rest your head on his arm, he comforted you twice he hasn't told anyone about your panic attacks and he guesses your smoothie every day he's crazy about you." Allegra said

"First of all, I offered to help him with his homework, and I rest my head on his shoulder because I was tired and for your information some girl also did it when I had my head on his shoulder, he doesn't tell anyone because he respects my privacy, and Lastly I told him my recipe the time I went to his house." I started explaining my side. "He will never like me, he's just my best friend." I said and let out a sigh "Sierra when the other girl did it what was his reaction?" Summer asked "He shrugged her off and she sat up straight." I said "Right and his reaction with you?" she asked "He adjusted himself so my head was in a comfier position so my neck wouldn't ache." I told her "I think that answers your question then doesn't it." Allegra said kindly "I guess but what if he doesn't like me like that I don't even know if I like him like that."

"You don't need to know directly Sierra, you've only known them for about a few months." Summer said. "Well even if we like each other, I'd have to act like I don't because I don't want dad to scold me and keep on reminding me about what happened." I said. "So who else are in your so called friend group?" Allegra asked. "So there's Mandy we're starting to get closer. Hadley who is like my brother, I go to him whenever I want to ignore Ramin or something. Tam the guy who took me out for coffee earlier. And Ramin that's all of them." I said as we made our way downstairs for dinner which was lovely it really was I thanked my mom for the meal and me and my sisters came back into my room it was like they were determined to get something out of me "What is it now?" I asked "We just wanna know how your feeling about-'' I cut them off "Don't even say his name." I said. "R a m i n'' they whispered then I flopped on my bed. "I like him sure." I said and they let out a squeal. "I wasn't finished as a friend." I said then smiled. "I don't want to risk our friendship because of that. Are you happy now?" I asked them starting to get comfortable in my bed. Their excitement turned to despair as I said as a friend wow they really wanted us to happen didn't they "Hold on your not willing to risk your friendship with Ramin but you are with Tam that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever Sierra you're insane." Allegra whisper yelled I just rolled my eyes "She'll notice it's more than platonic one day let's just leave her with Tam for now." Summer said "I still don't get it." I hear them start talking walking out of my room as I fell asleep on my bed.
