Chapter 40

"So Sierra, Summer told us what happened last night with Ramin." My dad said oh gosh. "Yeah, I'm so sorry. I don't know why I did it. I just thought it was okay.." I said but he just looked at me confused. "You got a good grade so why are you sorry?" My mom asked. oh. "I thought you'd get mad at me.." I said looking down. "Why would we ever get mad at you you worked so hard for that grade" she said "I guess that your right?" I told my parents thanking my lucky stars that they still didn't know about what happened between us but then my dad stood up and went to the Center of the room oh dear he knew didn't he no Sierra calm down summer promised she never breaks our promises especially when I knew about Brian my dad cleared his throat I was ready to be scolded "Welcome to the family concert where you have to sing or play and instrument to get to eat dinner." He said and our jaws dropped. 

"Are you serious dad?" I asked him and he started laughing. "We're just having a normal family concert where we can sing anything for at least 5 minuets then go eat the dinner we bought." He said and we nodded our heads. phew so everything was going to be ok me and my sisters got our instruments and started the trio that we had been playing since I was fifteen all the notes sounded beautiful and the harmonies were amazing it all blended into each other when we stopped our parents clapped for us then my parents played a song on the guitar it took me back to mine and ramins two month anniversary when he wrote me that beautiful song my parents finished their performance and I was taken out of my trance We applauded as our parents finished their song. It was very cute. "Dinner time!" My dad declared and we went to the table to see it empty. He pointed outside and it turns out we were gonna eat dinner in our backyard. "We should do this every Monday." Allegra said. "Yeah, we should." I said and Summer nodded her head. "If you guys really want to." Dad said and me, Allegra and Summer shouted "Yes we do!" And we all laughed.

We sat down in the garden and started eating our dinner it was really tasty and delicious but I was getting suspicious sure everything they did since the moment I stepped foot in the door was lovely but it was like they wanted something from me but I was probably just paranoid about the whole thing we finished our dinner and took the plates inside I was very careful washing up "Sierra can you come I hear for a second me and you dad need to talk to you " my mom called out I knew it was too good to be true "coming" I said as I put the last plate in the cupboard and went to the living room .

My dad seem to have gotten a call so I didn't go closer yet. Once they gestured for me to come I did. "Umm we heard from Ramin's mom that you did something wrong." My dad said. Oh no. "I'm sorry, I thought it was okay." I said not able to look at them. "Sierra, we told you that you can be together." My mom said which made me scared. "And you broke one of the rules." My dad added. I knew I did. I just didn't know I needed permission from my parents. That was a bit strange but I understood where they were coming from "which rule?" I questioned, still looking at the floor. I needed to know if they knew it might have been one time when I came home five minutes late but I wasn't really sure anymore if they knew I'd lose him forever and I couldn't bear that to happen.

"We heard that he went into your room 2 days ago." He said sternly. "Wait let me explain." I said and they nodded their heads. "I was sleeping since it was late, then he called me and told me to open my window and after that close my eyes. When I opened my eyes he was in my room. I told him to go out of my room because it was late and we were still gonna see each other the next day." I explained "It was his birthday he just really wanted to see me that's all that happened" I added "I'm not sure Sierra I think we might have to-" my dad started "please don't do this to me I love him so much I love him so much don't punish me like this" I said dropping to the floor begging at his feet "Sierra I have no choice" he said "Dad please don't I can't live without him he's helped me through so much don't you understand that" I said letting tears fall out of my eyes

"I'm sorry Sierra, we have to." My mom said "Did you even know that in his party we saw Jeremy who apparently was his friend but when I told him he... yeah. He let him go home." I said with hope in my eyes. I wish they could just see how much he cares for me. There was no sympathy in their eyes for me or for us "dad please when I was at his party he beat Jeremy up for me then sent him away in a cab back to Montana daddy can't you see how much he cares for me even when we had our first kiss he waited for me why are you doing this to me he means well he is doing amazing I love him so much why can't you see that he loves me back" I asked them still crying "Sierra a punishment is a punishment and also your teachers know about this and they have agreed to help us with it." My dad said and got another call.

 Once it was done he looked even more disappointed. "You had sex with him." He said and I was confused how did he know? "his dad just called." and I looked at the floor how did his dad know?. "That's it, go to your room." He said so I did.

How did they know I hid it well he hid it well we both hid it well I didn't regret it either I enjoyed it I was almost proud I didn't care I loved him so why was I crying so much I'd just been banned from seeing him for god knows how long my parents really didn't care did they then my door creaked open "go away mom" I said at the door "it's summer" she said and pulled me into a massive hug "I don't understand how could they do this to me" I said and she just held me she didn't say a word as she let go and left my first instinct was to lock the door and call my poor Ramin I picked the phone up and it rang.

 "hello" I sniffled "sie?" He called "yeah it's me" I said "baby are you ok you sound like your crying'' he said "ram our parents found out and now we're gonna be separated forever" I cried down the phone to him I could tell he just wanted to hug me and tell me that everything was going to be ok "I know Sie, my dad was the one that told your dad I don't know how they figured it out." He said "now I can't even see you in school because they talked to our teachers." I said. "But we still have our locker." He said, trying to lighten the mood. "We have all classes together and now they are putting us in different ends of the room. I don't know if I can do it." I sobbed "Sie baby please stop crying" he asked I was trying I really was "Ramin I need your number incase anything happens to our phones" I said and wrote his number in a notebook in my room and he did the same as I heard the paper flick through the audio "ram how am I gonna survive without you your my world" I told him and teared up again "we will find a way sie I promise we will get through this" he told me.

 "Sierra you better not be on that phone" I heard my dad growl "ram I need to go or somethings gonna happen I love you with all my heart" I told him "I love you too baby" he said and we put the phone down "Sierra give me the phone" my dad commanded I handed it to him with no hesitations. I didn't want to make the problem even worse. I couldn't do anything besides sleep. So I drifted off to sleep after crying a lot.

 I woke up the next morning with puffy eyes so I covered it with makeup and changed into jeans, a shirt and my hoodie. I got my bag then got breakfast and went out the door. I walked to school slower than usual. It was very depressing that I had nothing to look forward to in school except maybe for my friends. Which also have Ramin so this is going to be harder than usual.
