Chapter 28

I was woken up by my alarm. I turned it off and was about to fall back asleep when I remembered that it was mine and Ramin's 2 month anniversary.

 I spent some time reflecting and meditating which became a part of my routine then went down to eat breakfast, quicker than usual, because I wanted to put effort in preparing myself. Not only because it's our anniversary but it's our project performance. Though I prepared earlier I still looked the same but who cares. I really hoped he liked what I was wearing today it was a light pink flowy dress reminiscent of the one she wears on the rooftop during that scene and I put a white headband with pearls in on and curled my hair I got to school and looked around for him but I couldn't see him anywhere so I went to the only other place he'd be our locker.

I walked to our locker but he wasn't there so I just assumed he'd be late. "Hey Sierra!" I heard Mandy say. "Hi Mandy!" I replied. "You look different today. Let me guess, Musical theatre project?" She asked "Yep, have you seen Ramin today." I asked her and her eyes widened. "I haven't seen him today, why?" She asked. "Just wondering." I replied. "Well, I better get going. I forgot to get my umm ermm. Homework for the first period." She said. "Oh okay! See you later." I said then she ran off. Okay that was strange. I walked around some more we had fifteen minutes until we had to get to class so I was still looking for him then I bumped into Hadley "Hi Sierra!" he said "Hi Hadley look do you know where Ramin is I've been looking for him for twenty minutes and still can't find him." I said his eyes went wide just like Mandy's did "Oh that is very strange Sierra If I see him I'll tell you." he told me running off in a different direction yup this is very very strange My first class was actually with Hadley so I got confused why he ran off. I assumed Ramin was going to be late so I just went to our first class which was math. I just sat in my chair waiting for him to arrive. People were giving me weird stares. I wondered why. "Hey Sie!" I heard someone say from behind me. "Hello?" I said to this strange boy behind me "Umm can you not call me that it's just between me and my boyfriend" I told they guy and he nodded "I got told to pass a message on after second go to the auditorium and sit in the front row Center seat" he said which was a bit creepy but oh well "ok sure" I said turning round I saw Hadley beaming "What has gotten into you?" I asked "Just happy that's all." he said which was strange because it was Math but the lesson soon ended and no sight of Ramin I was starting to get worried

"Hadley come with me." I said "No I'm not coming with you." He said. "Pleaseee just this once, that guy just looked very suspicious telling me what to do." I begged. "But Sier-" I cut him off. "Just do it." I said and he stood up so we went to the auditorium. "I'll just stay near the entrance, so I can call someone in case something happens." Hadley said so I reluctantly nodded my head. I stepped into the auditorium and walked down the aisle it was so quiet like Almost ghostly I hadn't seen Ramin all day yes it was only 10:30 but that was a long time I had no texts or calls I walked to the front row and saw a piece of card with the word angel written on it with a heart drawn beside it so I guessed that was my seat I sat down anxious to find out what was about to happen I waited there for a long time. I was sure that 15 minutes have already passed and I was late for our next class. So I stood up and went to Hadley who wasn't there anymore. Which scared me to death. So I quickly went to my next class which thankfully has not started yet.

My next class was science I sat down and still no Ramin what could he be doing today it was our two month anniversary he wouldn't forget he was the one who reminded me. "pssst" I hear someone say behind me which made me turn around and they handed me a note I opened it and it said 'sorry for the inconvenience I got the timing down wrong meet me in the auditorium at lunch it's a surprise I hope you will love and remember signed RK' the note played on my mind all lesson I kept re reading it so much I had it memorized by now I left to go to my next class still no Ramin I quickly went to the washroom and re applied some of my makeup and made my way to drama class which I'd like sneak in because all we did was watch films Classes were boring without him mocking the teachers or trying to help me stay awake. It was lunch but I was still afraid to go to the auditorium alone.

 So I made my way to our locker where I found Mandy. "Umm hey Mandy!" I called and she turned around. "Yes Sierra?" She asked. "Umm can you go with me to the auditorium bc people have been passing me notes and telling me to do something and it's kinda sketchy so can you go with me?" I asked and she nodded her head. So we went to the auditorium and I told Mandy what to do which was basically Hadley's idea. I walked in and my heart started beating fast the many possible things that can happen were in my mind. I sat down where I stayed earlier. My heart was as loud as a drum beating in my head it was so loud my stomach got nervous butterflies and the lights in the auditorium turned off which made me jump what was happening was I being pranked or was something bad about to happen slowly stage lights appeared but their was no one on the stage suddenly a spotlight pointed down the center isle and revealed the person I've been wanting to see all day holding a guitar singing walking down the aisle "never thought I'd see the light again" he started I hadn't heard this song before was it new was it really old had he written it for me.

He just kept singing. I wasn't able to catch what the lyrics were because I just thought of how he was gone the whole morning and how he's here singing for me. Once he was done singing he smiled and went towards my direction. "Hi Sie." He said. "Hey.." I replied, not looking him in the eye. I was still nervous but I didn't know why. He pushed a button and from the roof a bucket of pink red and white heart shaped confetti floated down onto me I looked up at it all floating down he was so romantic he lifted my chin so my eyes met him "happy anniversary angel" he stated then gave me one of those kisses that made me weak and melt right in-front of him "strawberry?" He said I looked at him puzzled "oh right my lip gloss yeah it's strawberry" I said "you look absolutely stunning today" he said moving some of the confetti out of my hair "You're mean." I teasingly said "why am I mean?" He asked. "You missed the morning classes leaving me sleepy, bored and worried." I said. "Then I'm sorry." He said then I smiled. "Apology accepted." I said then gave him a hug.

 "I was a bit skeptical about going here." I said. "Why?" He asked as if he was concerned. "I don't really know, I think it was because I didn't know what would happen." I said "Aren't you glad you did show up though?" He asked "one million percent yes that's the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me ram did you write that song?" I asked him and he blushed "have you ever seen and Iranian bush" he said causing me to giggle "but seriously did you write that" I asked once again "yeah I wrote it for this really amazing girl that I met hmm about eight months ago she has gorgeous emerald green eyes the softest hair that always smells nice and today she decided to wear strawberry lip gloss" wait "Those are the only things you remember about me?" I asked, then rolled my eyes. "Come on we have an hour till our presentation." He reminded me. "Oh no." I said and started to get worried. "What is it?" He asked. "I was so worried about why you didn't text me that you weren't going to school so I forgot all about our performance." I said quickly. "Okay okay, slow down. We still have time, don't worry." He said and I took a deep breath. "Okay to the cafeteria."
