CHAPTER 64 - HORN

POV MASON

HAILEY remained unconscious for more than an hour. The Arcane Lord already prepared a room for us, but I want to wait for Hailey. I want her to know our real purpose here in Japan.

"Hey pet. Kamusta na pakiramdam mo?" tanong ko nang maramdaman ko na gising na si Hailey.

Lumapit ako sa kanya at hinawakan ang kanyang noo. Meron pa din siyang lagnat na gawa ng black magic.

"Okay naman. Nawala din ang sugat at gasgas sa braso ko."

"The tea that you drank includes a healing potion. Your wounds were fully healed."

Kahit ang sugat ko sa mukha at braso ay tuluyan na din nawala dahil sa healing potion na bigay ng Arcane Lord.

"Where is the Arcane Lord? Office ba niya ito?"

"Yes, he will be here shortly. May sasabihin siya sa'yo na mga bagay bagay."

"Mason, I remembered something."

"Ano 'yon?"

"I think I kissed your neck and drank your blood. Vampire na ba ako?"

"What? Of course not! Vampires were already extinct creatures. The curse that is empowering their blood thirst has already been long lifted."

"Mason, I don't think so. Tingin ko vampire na ako."

"Hailey, what are you talking about?"

Lumapit sa akin si Hailey at hinawakan ang mukha ko. Dahan dahan niyang nilapit ang labi niya palapit sa pisngi ko. I can't help but to close my eyes as I felt the light touch of her lips on my face.

"Hailey, what are you doing? Do you feel thirsty as if you want to drink my blood?"

Vampires no longer exist, but as far as I know, they were products of a powerful curse from dark magic. The surge of dark magic in Hailey may have caused these vampire-like symptoms.

"Hindi naman ako uhaw. Hindi ko naman gustong kagatin ang leeg mo. Hindi ko din naman naririnig ang tibok ng puso mo? But why is it I am so drawn to you?"

"Hindi kita maintindihan, Hailey. What do you mean by drawn to me---"

I paused when I felt her lips again on my neck. She is tenderly kissing my neck as if she is taking her sweet time to seduce me.

I was taken aback when she suddenly sat on top of my lap and straddled me. She began kissing my neck as she hurriedly removed her shirt. Within seconds, she is almost half naked in front of me.

"Hey hey hey. What are you doing?" tanong ko habang pinipigilan siya sa pagtanggal ng hook sa likod niya.

"I told you, I am so drawn to you. Like I am under an enchantment. Like I am captivated by your presence. Like I cannot get enough of you."

"Like you are horny?"

"Yes, that is the exact word."

She tried to kiss my neck again and this time, she tried to unbuckle my belt. I am not sure what is happening, but Hailey seems to be out of control.

"Hailey, you have to stop. We are inside the Arcane Lord's office. He will be here soon."

"I can't stop, Mason. All I want is to be with you right now. Please make love to me."

My eyes widened as she lowered down her hand and touched me between my thighs. She strokes it as if she owned it, as if she has the right to do so. I am torn if I will close my eyes in this ecstatic delight or if I will stop her insanity.

Damn it, Mason! You have to stop her or you might end up taking her inside the Arcane Lord's office!

I composed myself and took a deep breath. I quickly held her wrists to stop her. This madness needs to be stopped or else, I would regret this for the rest of my life.

"Hailey, looked at me. This is not you. This is your dark magic talking. You have to snap out of it."

"But I want you, Mason," nakikiusap na sabi niya na parang isang lasing.

"Not here, not now. There is a time for that. Come on, drink another cup of tea. You are getting crazier by the minute. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko sa'yo."

Pinaupo ko muli si Hailey sa sofa at binigyan ng tea na gawa ng Arcane Lord. Sumunod naman ito sa akin at wala pang ilang sandali ay inantok na itong muli.

I don't think she is in her right mind right now. I don't think Hailey will seduce me like this if she is rational right now. Or maybe she will.

Ilang minuto pa ay pumasok na muli ang Arcane Lord sa loob ng kanyang opisina. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil humihilik na muli si Hailey. Hindi maganda ang aabutan niya kung napaaga pa siya ng dating.

"I thought she is already awake," sabi ni Riku sa akin.

"Yes she was. I asked her to drink another cup of tea. She was not in her right mind. She was a bit---"

"Horny?"

"Something like that? How did you know?"

"I have dealt with a dark witch when I was in Bordeaux, France for a covert mission. She was horny as fuck. She used her fine legs to seduce me. But I was strong to handle her seduction."

"Nothing happened between you and the dark witch?"

"Of course, something happened. Damn gorgeous witch with ginger hair? Why should I let it pass? I just ended her life after our steamy affair. Don't judge me. I was young back then."

Isang ngiti lang ang sinagot ko sa kanya. Hindi ko akalain na mag-oopen ng ganitong mga bagay sa akin si Riku.

I know him as the Arcane Lord who appeared perfect in front of his subjects. I can't believe he is even discussing his affairs with a dark witch.

"I was young when I became the Arcane Lord. The wizards and the witches see me as their all-powerful leader who will lead them. Fuck, I don't even want this title. All I want is to go back to France and live my life to the fullest."

"But you can't. This is your responsibility."

"Mason, if you are the figure-head of this so-called wizard community, everyone expects you to behave according to their standards. I gave them what they want, a responsible leader. But for wizards like us, we may have power, but we are not immortals. Life is short. We should have fun."

The Arcane Lord waved his hand and three portals appeared in front of us.

The first portal is definitely Paris, France because of the Eiffel Tower. The second one is in the Mont Saint-Michel island in Normandy, France. The third one is in the city Bordeaux, France or the wine capital as I can clearly see the Le Grand Theatre.

"Choose one. We can leave here past midnight. We will arrive in France early in the evening."

"I can't leave Hailey here alone---"

"Not a problem. We will ask her to join us. Let us hope her dark magic subsided during that time."

I want to say no to him, but I think this controlling Arcane Lord already made up his mind on our trip to France.
