CELINA Renard Academy of Magic. Sabi ni Mason, ang magic school daw na ito ang nagtuturo sa mga witches at wizards para ma-enhance ang kanilang magical ability. But the truth is, the academy wants to ensure that we will not be corrupted by Dark Magic.

Iba iba ang mga talento ng mga estudyante dito. Xyder Roa is known for his Elemental Fire magic, while Rayah Evans is a gifted Elemental Air witch. Ang Ferrero Brothers naman ay kilala sa kanilang Earth magic.

In my case, wala akong alam na kahit anong magic kundi ang Magic Nullification. A rare ability to nullify the effects of magic. Saka siyempre ang Dark Magic na kaya kong i-suppress salamat na lamang sa mga potions ni Professor Kent.

"Is this your last year in college?" tanong ni Professor Kent habang nasa loob kami ng laboratory room niya.

"Yes po. Graduate na po ako next year. Balak ko magreview ng isang taon para makakuha ng board exams."

"This is a more potent potion as its effect is longer, but I may need to check up on you every month. We don't want any accidental explosions, do we?" tanong niya sa akin sabay bigay sa akin ng mga glass bottles na may laman na puting liquid.

"Bakit hindi ka po magbakasyon sa Pinas? Well, unless mayaman ka at gusto mo magtravel from France to Philippines every month."

"I have several coffeeshops in France, but I am actually from Scotland. That is where I got my sexy accent."

"Sexy accent na hindi effective kay Rayah?"

"Alright! You officially failed my Potion Creation class, dark witch!"

"Why don't you talk to her?"

"I am a pussy, remember? I don't have the guts to talk to her."

Naputol ang usapan namin ni Professor Kent nang tumunog ang kanyang Flippies. Bakas sa mukha niya ang pag-aalala habang binabasa ang mga messages niya.

"Emergency meeting again?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"There was another murder. This time, it was done in the wizard school in the United States. The Arcane Lord is on his way here."

"Bakit dito? Hindi ba dapat sa Wyoming siya pumunta? Hindi ba doon ang wizard school sa US?"

"I think he is coming for you."

"Professor Kent, anong gagawin ko? Baka patayin ako ni Korean Arcane Lord?"

"We can protect you here in CRAM, but we cannot protect you against the Arcane Lord. He has the authority among us. If he wants to throw you inside Mount Fuji, we all need to comply."

"That's comforting, Professor Kent. Active volcano ang Mount Fuji. Kapag tinapon niya ako doon, baka sumabog ito ng wala sa oras! Tsunami pa more!"

"I will find Mason. Stay here. You are not allowed to leave this room under no circumstances."

"Professor Kent, am I going to die in the hands of the Arcane Lord?"

"Not yet. Just pray that your prince of darkness will save you from this cataclysm."

Paglabas ni Professor Kent ay naka-receive ako ng message kay Mason.

Professor Mason Elizalde: Ms. Diaz, how are you?

Haileyshade Diaz: Okay naman. I guess.

Professor Mason Elizalde: Where are you, Ms. Diaz? We need to talk about your Dark Magic lessons in the Aquamarine Dungeon right now. Will you come here?

Haileyshade Diaz: Pasensya na po, Professor Elizalde. Nasa dormitory room po. Masakit po ang ulo ko. Mamaya na lang po, pupuntahan ko na lang po kayo.

Professor Mason Elizalde: See you later, then.

Hindi ko alam kung si Mason ang kausap ko sa Flippies, pero hindi niya ko tinatawag na Ms. Diaz. At hindi kami nag-uusap ng lessons sa Aquamarine Dungeon. Kadalasan ay nasa likuran kami ng CRAM school sa aming after-class lessons.

Mason told me that CRAM will protect me. The Provost and the three professors will keep me safe inside the school walls. Pero para akong nakaramdam ng takot nang dumating dito ang Arcane Lord. Siya ang pinaka magaling na wizard sa buong mundo.

Taga Japan pa siya. Siguradong may lahi siyang Ninja.

Sinubukan ko magtago sa ilalim ng table ng laboratory room at niyakap ang binti ko. Kung ilalagay ko ang sarili ko sa katayuan ng isang magical leader na tulad ng isang Arcane Lord, I guess my best resolution to this critical issue is to simply kill the Ultima Incantatrix.

Kasalanan talaga ito ni Mason! Dapat pumayag na lang siyang buntisin ako eh! Baka sakali pa na magkaroon kami ng baby na marunong ng Light Magic at mawala ang Dark Magic ko.
