HINDI ko na napigilan ang umiyak sa harapan ni Sage. Siguro kasi ang tagal ko na din itinatago ang sama ng loob ko sa demonyita na si Lilith. Ayoko magkaaway kami ni Sage, kaya ayoko din pag-usapan ito, pero mali pala 'yon. Dapat ay ipinagtapat ko sa kanya lahat ng kinikimkim ko na sama ng loob.

"Your Highness, I think you should see this."

Boses ni Abraxas ang nagpatigil sa akin sa paghikbi. Lumabas sa kamay niya ang isang tila itim na usok na nag-anyong bola.

"My King, when you told me about Ahabaddon and the Razenstein Coven, I asked several covens of dark witches to serve me and to report any dark magic anomaly to me. These covens did not hesitate when they realized that I am a Demon General Abraxas."

"I guess they all agreed as it would be an honor to serve the legendary Demon General?" tanong ni Sage na tinulungan akong tumayo.

"I only did this to serve my true king," sagot ni Abraxas at ibinigay sa kamay ni Sage ang bilog na usok na nag-anyo na crystal ball.

Lumabas sa crystall ball ang Citadel of the Sky, pero malaking bahagi nito ay highly damaged na. Ang mga gubat na nakapalibot din dito ay tila nawala.

"Is that Mason on top of a big Panda Bear? And is that Hailey on top of a huge Grizzly bear?" gulat na tanong ni Sage.

"Sage! Gusto ko din ng malaking bear! Sakay tayo!"

"I think they are using the legendary Chimies. They are with the Arcane Lord Riku Nakamura."

Gamit ang kanilang mga ice swords, mahusay nilang sinugod ang mga dark wizards na may pulang mata. Sigurado kami ni Sage na mga kampon ito ni Ahabaddon.

"The Arcane Lord is possibly lending them his powers. There is no way Hailey can deliver such sword techniques," sabi ni Sage habang pinagmamasdan namin si Hailey na mahusay na nakikipaglaban habang nakasakay sa malaking Grizzly Bear.

"Sage, kailangan tulungan natin sila! Kailangan ko hiramin ang Panda Bear ni Mason! Gusto ko sumakay sa bear!"

Napatigil lang si Sage nang bigla ko siyang kinurot. Masyadong bastos ang biro niya para marinig ni Abraxas.

"Your Highness, I think you have a more pressing matter to deal with. Ahabaddon needs to be caged again back to the abyss before..."

"Before what?" nag-aalala na tanong ni Sage kay Abraxas.

"Before he unleashed the creature of the abyss. Once he does that, Ahabaddon may start the armageddon here on earth. I am sure that the both of you are not allowed to meddle with this fight, but come on. You should at least do something."

We may be immortal Guardians, but Ahabaddon is on a different level, Immundus-like level.

Tama naman si Abraxas, hindi kami pwedeng makialam sa laban nila, pero hindi ibig sabihin ay hindi kami pwedeng tumulong.

"Riku Nakamura is the most powerful wizard, but he is not here. He has his own battle with Mason and Hailey. Do you know who is possibly the next most powerful wizard after him? Thade Elizalde. The freaking blood of the Guardian Scribe Gideon is coursing through his veins. I think the prophecy is about him and his mountain girl. Let's go," sabi ni Sage sa akin.

Bago kami tuluyan umalis ay ibinigay sa amin ni Abraxas ang kanyang black crystal ball kung saan nagaganap ang pakikipaglaban nila Mason sa mga undead army ni Ahabaddon.

"Nasa entrance ng Citadel of the Sky si Rayah kasama ang kanyang na si frenny Xyder Roa. Kahit ang mga ibang professors ng CRAM at ng ibang magical schools ay nandito. Marahil ay binigyan na sila ng babala ng Arcane Lord," sabi ko kay Sage sabay turo sa crystal ball.

"But there is a defensive barrier surrounding the Sky Island. They will not be able to get in as Ahabaddon activated the use of magic inside the Sky island. Let us find Thade. Kahit tayo ay hindi makakapasok sa loob niyan."

Nagpaalam kami kay Abraxas at pinuntahan si Thade sa kanyang coffee shop sa isang mall. Kahit pag-aari niya ito ay siya mismo ang nagse-serve sa mga customers.

"Pabili nga po ng isang choco milkshake, 'yong pinaka malaki," sabi ko kay Thade habang nasa harapan ako ng counter.

"Grandmy? What are you doing here? At wala kaming milkshake," sagot ni Thade sabay tapik sa balikat ng isang barista para magtake over sa counter.

Niyaya niya kami sa second floor ng coffeeshop kung saan wala masyadong tao. I am so proud of Thade dahil sa batang edad, marami na siyang businesses. Siya din ang personal na namamahala ng aming dog shelters.

"Bakit kayo napasyal dito? Nasa katapat na mall ang Jollibee ah?" nakangiti na tanong ni Thade sabay lapag ng cake slices sa table.

"Thade, naalala mo 'yong prophecy ni Kaliyah about sa'yo at kay mountain girl?"

"Yes, Grandmy. According to the prophecy, there will be an apocalypse-like disturbance here on earth and the only way to stop this is for me to fuck that mountain girl. Do you seriously believe that?"

"Thade, baka iba ang ibig sabihin ng prophecy. Baka kailangan niyo lang mag join forces ng powers ni mountain girl."

Mabilis na ipinaliwanag ni Sage na under attack ngayon ang Sky Island at nandoon ang Arcane Lord na nakikipaglaban sa mga alagad ni Ahabaddon, kasama si Mason at si Hailey. Binanggit din niya kay Thade kung paano maaring maibalik muli sa abyss si Ahabaddon.

"So you want to revive three dead witches? That is your plan? Grandy, even if we are successful, they will not be back to normal beings. Baka nga zombie na sila kapag binuhay natin sila."

"But Thade, sabi ni Ice Cream-addict Demon General, sila lang ang susi para matalo natin si Ahabaddon."

"Grandmy, the Demon General somehow makes sense. Ahabaddon was fully released from the abyss using a sacrificial dark magic, courtesy of the lives of these three marked witches. A sacrificial dark magic can only be reversed if we either bring these witches back to life or completely erase their essence in this world."

"Essence in this world?" tanong ko kay Thade sabay tingin kay Sage.

"Ahabaddon used their souls as anchors in this world to exist. These witches are eternally trapped here. So to resolve this issue, we just need to free their souls. Hindi natin kailangan bumuhay ng patay at mag start ng zombie apocalypse."

"Sounds like a plan. At paano gagawin 'yan? Saan natin hahagilapin ang mga souls nila?"

"Last time I checked, their bodies were not released to their families as dark magic is emanating from it. They are inside the Nullus Magus Cubus in their respective schools, a highly protected cube that nullifies all forms of magic. Unfortunately, Ahabaddon's power is nothing like we have seen before. The Nullus Magus Cubus can only contain the dark magic, but cannot nullify it."

"So back to zero tayo? Sage, may suggestions ka ba?" tanong ko kay Sage dahil kanina pa ito nakikinig lang sa amin ni Thade.

"I think we need the mountain girl," nakangisi na sagot ni Sage sa amin ni Thade.
