2nd Birthday/Birthday Dilemma

311: EXT. NEVERLAND RANCH (BACKYARD) DAY FADE IN: 

Two months later. June 8th, 1991. Prince Jr.'s second birthday. 

RACHAEL: (comes out with a birthday cake) (singing) Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Prince Jr. Happy birthday to you! 

MICHAEL: (claps) Yay!

PRINCE JR.: (attempts to blow out the candle) 

MICHAEL: Awww! Let Daddy help you! (helps him blow it out) 

RACHAEL: Yay!!! 

MICHAEL: (cuts the cake) 

RACHAEL: (kisses Prince's head)

Later... 

PRINCE: Hey Mike, did you get Rach anything for her birthday yet? 

MICHAEL: Of course.

PRINCE: What did you get her? 

MICHAEL: Why do you wanna know? 

PRINCE: Cuz I got her Elton John tickets. 

MICHAEL: Oh, nice, I got her Neil Sedaka tickets. 

PRINCE: Wait... When's his concert? 

MICHAEL: Next Saturday. 

PRINCE: Shit! 

MICHAEL: Why? What's the problem? 

PRINCE: Elton's is the same night. 

MICHAEL: Well, I'm her husband, so it's only right that I take her. Besides, she loves Neil. 

PRINCE: Are your tix VIP? 

MICHAEL: No, Neil's taking off after the show. 

PRINCE: Too bad, cuz mine are! 

MICHAEL: Prince, come on. You got her tickets last year. 

PRINCE: Why don't you just let Rachie decide? Yo Rach, come here! 

RACHAEL: (walks over to them) What's up? 

PRINCE: If you had to choose to go to an Elton John concert or a Neil Sedaka concert, who would you choose? 

RACHAEL: Ooh... Damn, that's tough... Well, last I heard, Neil's tickets are sold out. 

MICHAEL: But... 

PRINCE: (puts his hand over his mouth) Ah! Let the lady answer. 

RACHAEL: So I guess I'd have to say Elton. 

PRINCE: HA!

 RACHAEL: Why? 

PRINCE: No reason.

RACHAEL: Oh ok, well I'm gonna give Prince a bath, he's covered in cake. (walks away)
