719: INT. PAISLEY PARK (STUDIO) DAY FADE IN: 

The next day, January 1st, 1996. Rachael is at Paisley Park getting ready to record a new album. 

RACHAEL: (comes in with a huge stack of sheet music)

PRINCE: Hey Rach, what's all this? 

RACHAEL: I was up all night writing songs. 

PRINCE: (starts flipping through them) Wow, you wrote all these? 

RACHAEL: Yup, I was feeling pretty inspired last night. 

PRINCE: Well, this is great. Let's get started. 

RACHAEL: Ok. (goes into the booth)

RACHAEL: (starts singing)

PRINCE: Sure, what do you need? 

RACHAEL: Well, there's a verse in here that was intended for Michael but he couldn't come today, so I thought maybe you'd wanna do it with me. 

PRINCE: Sure. (plays the next track and gets in the booth with her) 

RACHAEL: (starts singing)
