243: INT. MIKE AND HOPE'S HOUSE (RACHAEL'S ROOM) DAY FADE IN:

The next day...

RACHAEL: (wakes up) (moans) (to herself) "The next day, I woke up feeling tired and run down. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I knew this wasn't a good sign..."

MICHAEL: (wakes up) Hey sweetie, I didn't know you were awake.

RACHAEL: Morning honey.

MICHAEL: Are you okay? You look exhausted.

RACHAEL: I don't know, I feel kinda achy.

MICHAEL: (feels her head) You feel warm too. Is there a thermometer anywhere?

RACHAEL: Uh, there should be. Check the bathroom. I'm gonna go make some tea. (gets up)

MICHAEL: Ok, I'll be down in a minute.

244: INT. MIKE AND HOPE'S HOUSE (KITCHEN) DAY CUT TO:

RACHAEL: (comes in and starts brewing a cup of tea)

PRINCE: (comes in) Oh good, you're awake. Listen I wanted to go over the guest list for the special today.

RACHAEL: Prince...

PRINCE: Hang on, you'll love this. I got Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brian May!

RACHAEL: (spits out her tea in shock) (coughs)

PRINCE: (laughs) I knew you'd be excited!

RACHAEL: That's... That's great.

MICHAEL: Rach, I got the thermometer.

RACHAEL: Ugh, thank you sweetie.

PRINCE: What do you need that for?

RACHAEL: I think I have a fever. I woke up feeling really achy.

MICHAEL: And she felt a little warm when I felt her forehead.

PRINCE: (feels her head) She's fine, it's just a cold.

MICHAEL: Let's see what this says. (takes her temperature)

PRINCE: (rolls his eyes)

MICHAEL: (looks at the thermometer) 101. (turns to Prince) Cancel the special. She's not going anywhere.

PRINCE: It's a little late for that Mikey.

MICHAEL: Prince, she has a fever. You can't expect her to perform in this condition.

PRINCE: Quit whining, it's only a little one. (pours a couple asprin out and hands them to her) Here, take two of these. It should bring your fever down.

RACHAEL: (takes them and takes a sip of water)

MICHAEL: (shakes his head) I don't like this. I mean look at her, she's clearly not feeling good.

PRINCE: Makeup will fix that.

MICHAEL: But...

RACHAEL: Guys, please. Can we just get this over with? I'll be fine.

PRINCE: Yes, thank you. (they all leave)

245: INT. TV STUDIO (DRESSING ROOM) DAY CUT TO:

Rachael is preparing for the second half of the Christmas special.

RACHAEL: (to herself) "By the time we got to the studio, I felt even worse. I was shivering like crazy and couldn't seem to get warm. I knew I had the flu, and I had to see a doctor."

MICHAEL: (comes in) I got you some tea honey. (gives her a cup of tea)

RACHAEL: Hm? Oh, thank you sweetheart. (sips it)
