193: EXT. NEVERLAND RANCH (BACKYARD) DAY FADE IN:
One month later, June, 1990. Prince Michael's first birthday.
RACHAEL: (everybody singing in unison) Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Prince Michael, happy birthday to you!
PRINCE JR.: (giggles)
RACHAEL: Go ahead honey, blow out the candle!
PRINCE JR.: (attempts to blow it out)
RACHAEL: (laughs softly) can Mama help you?
PRINCE JR.: (nods)
RACHAEL: Ok, together. (leans over his shoulder and blows out the candle)
MICHAEL: (claps) Yay!!!!
RACHAEL: (hands him to Michael) Hold him while I cut the cake. (starts cutting the cake)
PRINCE: Hey, where's the birthday boy at?
MICHAEL: Right here!
PRINCE JR.: (reaches his arms out to him) Pwince!
MICHAEL: Wanna go to Prince?
PRINCE JR.: (nods)
MICHAEL: (hands him to Prince)
PRINCE: Hey little buddy, I gotcha something. (hands him a small gold chain with the Love Symbol on it)
RACHAEL: Oh Prince, that's so pretty, and adorable!
MICHAEL: Yeah, it'll go great with this one we got him. (puts a Prince crown necklace around his neck)
RACHAEL: And my personal favorite, baby's first record player! And, a Jackson 5 greatest hits album! Now, who wants cake?
PRINCE JR.: Me!
RACHAEL: (gives him a small slice) Here you go honey.
PRINCE JR.: (claps)
PRINCE: (looks down at the cake) Fudgie The Whale?
RACHAEL: Yeah. All my life I always had a carvel cake on my birthday, I thought he'd love Fudgie.
MICHAEL: (laughs) It looks like it!
RACHAEL: (looks to see him covered in cake) (laughs) (turns to Michael) Honey, get the camera!
MICHAEL: (takes a picture) (giggles)
RACHAEL: Come on sweetheart, let's get you in the bath. (turns to Michael) Will you come help me honey?
MICHAEL: Sure sweetie. (both go inside)
194: INT. NEVERLAND RANCH (BATHROOM) NIGHT CUT TO:
Michael and Rachael try to bathe Prince Jr.
RACHAEL: (runs the bath)
MICHAEL: (puts him in the tub)
PRINCE JR.: (giggles)
RACHAEL: (starts washing him)
PRINCE JR.: (starts splashing around)
RACHAEL: (laughs) Ah!
MICHAEL: (trying hard not to laugh) Um... Honey?
RACHAEL: What?
MICHAEL: You have some foam on your head!
RACHAEL: (wipes it off) Hey, you've got some too!
MICHAEL: Where?
RACHAEL: Here! (splashes the bubble bath onto him)
MICHAEL: Ah! (laughs)
195: INT. NEVERLAND RANCH (NURSERY) NIGHT DISSOLVE TO:
Later that night...
RACHAEL: (puts him in the crib and tucks him in)
MICHAEL: He's so cute when he's asleep.
RACHAEL: Isn't he? I know he's not gonna remember this, but he had a great first birthday.
MICHAEL: All thanks to his mommy.
RACHAEL: (smiles warmly)
