Thanksgiving (1996)

842: INT. NEVERLAND RANCH (DINING ROOM) DAY FADE IN: 

One month later, November 28th, 1996. 

RACHAEL: (to herself) "When Thanksgiving rolled around, we invited Prince and Mayte to have dinner with us and the kids. For their sake, we kept it small, just us, the kids, and Latoya. We talked, but I could see the pain in their eyes." (passes around plates with turkey to everyone) Happy Thanksgiving everyone. 

PRINCE: (stands up and raises his glass) I'd like to say something. Thank you Heavenly Father for your blessings, thank you for this food we're about to eat. But mostly, thank you for Amiir. Thank you for the time we had with him, thank you for keeping him safe, for we know he is safe with you. And bless the many children to come. Amen. 

MAYTE: Amen. (to herself) "We didn't wait to try to get pregnant again, but this ordeal had left my spirit so empty." 

First, sorry for the short chapter. I've been getting lazy with these holiday chapters. Mainly it's cuz I've been following Mayte's book, so once I got through the whole Amiir thing I didn't know what to do next because after that part it was too much to add any more for the time being.
