A few days later. June 11th, 1996.
PRINCE: (comes in with Mayte and the kids) Hey guys.
RACHAEL: Hi! (to Prince Jr.) How was the sleepover?
PRINCE JR.: It was awesome!
RACHAEL: Good! (looks up at Prince) Were they good for you?
PRINCE: They're always good! Oh, Rach, I brought you a birthday present. (gives her an envelope) You might as well open it today cuz you'll be needing these tomorrow night.
RACHAEL; (opens it up) (gasps) Johnny Cash tickets?!
PRINCE: Yup, tomorrow night at the Staples Center.
RACHAEL: Thank you! (hugs him tightly)
PRINCE: You're welcome Rach. Well, we gotta go. Mayte and I are having the ultrasound today. (leaves)
796: INT. DOCTORS OFFICE DAY DISSOLVE TO:
Later, Prince and Mayte are having their ultrasound.
DOCTOR: (comes in) Hello Mr. and Mrs. Nelson! How are you?
MAYTE: We're doing pretty good, I haven't had any morning sickness, just been tired all the time.
DOCTOR: Well that's perfectly normal! Alright, I'm gonna rub the gel on your belly and you should be able to see your baby in a minute! (turns in the machine and rubs the wand on her stomach) And... There's your baby!
DOCTOR: And you said you wanted the gender to be a surprise, right?
PRINCE: That's right.
MAYTE: Wait! (looks closely at the screen) Is... Is that what I think it is?
DOCTOR: (giggles) Nope! That's just the umbilical cord!
MAYTE: (to herself) "We had agreed we didn't want to be told the baby's gender, but I was certain I could see a little you-know-what between his legs!"

Later that day...
PRINCE: Listen, I got something for you. (pulls out a dress and a T-shirt)
