I finally get my collections in order, so I hop back down and sit next to Sid. He scoots over and I lean on the bear's midsection, feeling its softness. I guess I was tired because I think I blink, but when I open my eyes, it's already night.

I'm leaning on the bear, still in the corner like I literally blinked. Except Sid was gone and the book went with him. He took the Stedman's Medical Dictionary from the bookshelf, but I've read it so many times I could name off any disease in it in a heartbeat.

I sit up and look around, seeing Sakari sleeping in her bed. But, the door opens and in walks in a ghost. It's a little girl, maybe 6 years old, holding a stuffed bear in her arms. She shuts the door quietly and walks to me, making no sound as she does so.

"Are you awake," she asks.

"Yeah," I whisper in order to not wake Sakari or the guys.

"Can we switch spots? I like the bear," she says. I stand and she sits, cuddling up to it and falling asleep.

'First ghost's nice. Okay, not so bad. But if I find something darker, I'm out,' I think as I undress.

I look for a basket and find one in the closet; it decorated with little purple flur-de-lis. I toss my clothes into the basket and take my phone out of my bra strap, setting it on the dresser. I walk to my bed and pull the covers up, sliding in. I cover up and get comfortable, falling asleep again.

-morning-

"Liz! Wake up you have to see this," Joey exclaims, shaking me.

"What for," I ask.

"Something really weird just happened in the basement! The guys are thinking ghosts but I don't. But we need your input," he says.

I wave him out and get dressed, putting my phone back in my bra strap. I follow him to the basement and the first thing I see is papers thrown all over the place. The next thing made me freeze and make my heart race. It's a group of ghosts that haven't had a good life before their death. They pick up Jim's guitar and I take it, putting it back on the stand.

"Who do you think you are bitch," the ghost, a teenage guy, asks.

"I can hear and see you, so keep your translucent mouth shut," I say. He tries pushing me, but he only goes through me. But I get chills though me after.

"You keep this up and I'm going to have to get rid of you three," I say to them. There are three teenage guys there, glaring at me. The other two are making fun at the petrified guys, making them shudder by going through them.

"And how will you do that? You can't vacuum us up like the Ghostbusters," he says.

"I can banish you from this property," I say.

His face goes from smug to fearful in a heartbeat, and he promises to be good. He makes the other two promise and I turn to the guys, who are all petrified. Except Joey. He's standing there, arms crossed and a doubting look on his face and in his eyes.

"They said they'll be good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to do some things today," I say. I walk upstairs and Joey follows, stopping me in the living room.

"Explain to me what you saw," he says.

"There was three teenage boys. From how they looked, they died of an overdose. I don't really know what to say," I say.

"I don't believe you actually saw ghosts. Call me a skeptic, I don't care, but I don't," he says.

"Tell you what," I start, walking upstairs to my room, "you take this and walk around the mansion with it on. If it spikes, there's a ghost there."

I get a K2 for him and put it in his hand, turning it on. The little girl wakes up and skips over to me, reaching up to touch the meter.

"What does this have to do with a ghost," Joey asks.

"Just a second," I say. I pick up the girl and hold her like a babysitter would, the girl trying to touch the meter.

"I wanna touch it," she says.

"What in the hell are you holding? Another ghost," he asks.

"Hold your meter out," I say.

He does and the girl puts her hand on the meter, making it spike to red and stay at yellow. Joey looks at it and his eyes widen, the gears in his head turning to try to debunk it. The girl takes her hand off and on her bear, the meter going back to normal. I set the girl down and she skips out of my room and to the living room. I pat Joey's head as I walk out, hearing him follow.

"Sakari," I call as I get my Air Walks on.

"Let's take a walk," I say. We both need to get away from the guys and the house. I put her leash on and open the front door, seeing a nice breeze going through the trees. It sounded like the Wii golf course on the sports edition.

"Afternoon miss," a man about 80 says, tipping his cap to me.

"Afternoon," I say back. Sakari walks down the sidewalk with me, but when the crowd grows, we turn back and head to the house.

"Hey Sakari, I'm going to get another tattoo today. Okay, probably 2 but I'll be gone for most of the day," I say after she gets her leash off.

"Aww," she whines.

"I know. But I don't think tattoo artists will allow dogs into the shop," I say, petting her. She's so soft, but she really needs a bath.

"New tattoo," Sid asks.

"Yeah. Wanna come with," I ask.

"Yes, yes I do."
