He chuckles and I hop on the bus, setting the boxes down on my bed and sitting by them, opening Ari's box and waiting for the guys to get changed so they can be jealous over my presents. I close my eyes and they change, telling me I can open my eyes after.
"Okay, show us what you got," Sid says, all of them sitting on Corey's bed.
I take out my perfume and hand them the box, all of them taking out something and examining it. They put everything away and hand the box back to me, looking eagerly at my other two boxes. I open the box next to me and set it in front of my feet, all of them looking in the box that's filled with the weird platforms. I take another pair out and it's filled with fake blood... I hope.
"Whoa, these are cool," Joey says, holding up one with little plastic drumsticks.
"There are, as the giver said, 30 pairs in here. I'm set for the weird platforms," I say, putting a thumb up and putting my shoes back, putting the other box on it and telling them to close their eyes. They do and I open it, taking out the coveralls and putting them behind me, eventually sitting on them.
"You can open them," I say, all of them looking in and their eyes widening. Sid holds up the shoes I did and I smile, holding up equally weird shoes. And equally my favorite.
"Holy shit! You don't have eyes on the back of your head, but you do on your shoes," Corey says, making me laugh. He grabs a pair and holds it up, all of us staring at the skull and saying what we think about it.
"I think they're cool," I say.
"They're weird, but they suit Liz really well," Shawn says.
"I think that someone went through something to make these," Corey says.
"It's not a phase mom," I say, making him laugh.
"I think this girl or girls who made these should be selling these. They're just weird enough to be seared into someone's brain," Joey says, Sid staring at them.
"I think you're going to be called a crazy shoe lady once you wear one of these," he says, looking at me.
"Maybe. What's the harm in that," I ask, setting my pair down and getting out another one.
