I looked in disbelief at the positive pregnancy test.
"I can't be pregnant." I kept muttering to myself.
The last person I slept with was my best friend Adam, and we swore we would never do it again.
I cursed to myself and got into my car.

After the short drive to Adams house I had to muster the courage to even knock on the door, but when he finally answered I was happy i was telling him.
"Hey, y/n what's up?"
"Uhh, I just have something to tell you."
"Oh yeah, come in."
"Want a beer?" He asked as I was sitting down.
"Oh no thanks i'm good."
"Alright then what's up?"
I looked towards him.
"Adam I'm pregnant."
"What! Congrats!" He said pulling me in for a hug. I guess he didn't realize it was his yet.
"Adam, about the baby. It's yours."
"What slow down are you sure?"
I nodded.
"Your the last person I slept with."
"Oh my God."
"Adam, your the dad you should be involved on if we're gonna keep it or not. What do you want to do?"
"I wanna keep it."
"Then so do I."
"We're really doing this huh?"
"Guess so." I looked at him.
He leaned forward and placed a kiss on my lips.
"We're gonna be parents." I said still in shock.
"Does that mean you want to try for a relationship?"
I nodded.
He pulled me into his side.
"Then we'll be fine."
And that was the truth we were fine.
