I walked through the doors of the district. It was my first day back and I was gonna surprise Jay.
"Hey Trudy!"
"Hey y/n! How've you been?"
"I'm good! How are you?"
"Great! How's the baby?"
"She's awesome."
"That's great! I'll buzz you up!"
"Thanks!"
She let me up since my handprint wasn't working and I walked up the stairs.
"Hey! Your back!" Kim came over and gave me a hug."
"Have you seen Jay?"
"Yeah he's in the locker room."
"Thanks." I smiled and made my way over to the lockers.
I walked in and heard weird noises.
"That can't be."
I turned the corner and saw Jay and Hailey kissing.
I scoffed. They didn't hear me so I kicked the locker.
They both looked up at me with wide eyes.
"Y/n! It's not what it looks like!"
"Screw off Jay!" I walked out of the locker room and stormed out to my car. I went to the apartment that Jay and I shared and grabbed everything I could find that was mine and put it in my car. I drove to my brothers house and grabbed my daughter.
"Come on y/dn we are leaving."

I was sitting in the living room watching tv when my daughter walked in.
"Hey mom?"
"What's up?"
"I want to meet my dad."
I thought it over for a second.
"Ok let's go get in the car."
"Wait your actually going to let me meet him?"
"Yeah, let's go."
"Oh ok, where are we going?"
"Chicago."
"That's 2 hours away!"
"I know so you better settle in."
2 hours later we pulled into Kelly and Stellas driveway. (They have two kids)
"Come on."
"This is aunt Stella and uncle Kelly's house though mom."
"I know honey."
We knocked on the door and Liam answered.
"Hey aunt y/n what are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to your parents are they home?"
"Yeah. Mom, Dad there's someone here to see you!"
Kelly and Stella came up behind him.
"Y/n! what are you guys doing here?"
Kelly asked hugging me.
"I'll explain in a minute. Y/dn go hang out with Maya and Liam."
She nodded and went in the house.
Once I knew she was out of ear shot I started talking.
"She wants to meet Jay."
"She does?"
"Yeah, does he still work at the 21st?"
Stella nodded.
I walked into the house and caught up with my brother and Stella for a little bit.
"Come on y/dn!" I yelled up the stairs. She came down the stairs.
"Bye guys!"
"Bye."
"Mom where are we going now?"
"To meet your dad."
"Really?"
I nodded.
We drove to the district.
"Wait in the car."
Trudy wasn't at the front desk so I had the lady who was their buzz me up.
Nobody was their so I took a minute to look around the place I haven't been in in 17 years.
"Excuse me can I help you?" I heard a voice say. I turned around to see who it was.
"Y/n?"
"Jay? Just the person I was looking for."
"Is everything ok?"
"Y/dn wants to meet you."
"She does?"
"Yeah. Come on."
I lead him downstairs and out to my car.
"She's in the car."
He walked over.
I saw them getting along. I smiled thinking about how my family could've been but then remembered that he cheated on me. Everything will be ok, I thought to myself.
