I was pacing back and forth.
"Y/LN your gonna wear a hole in the floor." Antonio said.
"Tony my son was kidnapped! Of course I'm worried, and to make matters worse Kevin is out with the team on a case and I can't get ahold of any of them."
He grabbed my shoulders and turned me towards him so that I was facing him.
"Y/N we will find him."
I nodded.
Kevin and the rest of the team came up the steps. I ran over to Kevin and flung myself into his arms.
"Hey are you ok? What happened?" He asked wrapping his arms around me.
"Jackson was kidnapped."
"What?" He said with worry in his voice
I pulled myself away from him so that I was facing him.
"Me and Tony were doing paperwork, and I got a call from some guy, saying he had Jackson
so I called the school and sure enough someone picked him up out of school."
He pulled me into his arms and kissed my temple.
"Did it have a caller id?" Hank asked.
"No sarge it was un unknown caller."
My phone started ringing.
"Guys."
I put my phone on my desk and put it on speaker.
"Detective Y/N Y/LN are you ready to talk now?"
"Where's my son?"
"Track the location on that phone." Kevin whispered to Adam. He nodded.
"He's alive. That's all you need to know."
"I need proof of life."
"Mommy!" My heart broke hearing his voice.
"I got it."
"You have an hour to give me the information I need or your sons dead."
"You touch my son and I'll kill you!" Kevin shouted into the phone.
"Ruz what's the address?"
"416 Rose street on the south side."
I grabbed my gun and put it in my waist band. I got in my car with Hailey.
We pulled up to the scene.
"Ruzek, Y/LN, Upton, and Atwater go in. Everyone else stay outside."
We went in guns raised.
"Clear."
"Clear."
I turned into a bedroom.
I rose my hands at the sight that I saw.
"Hey we can figure this out just put the gun down." There was a man who I knew holding a gun to my sons head. I knew this guy because i arrested his son and his son died in jail.
"I'm gonna take your son just like you took mine."
"Jeff calm down, we can figure this out. My son is only 6 he has his whole life ahead of him. If you want to hurt my son and my husband kill me."
"I got a shot." I heard through my earpiece.
"Take it."
I heard a gunshot and Jeff fell to the floor.
I ran over to my son.
Hailey, Adam, and Kevin ran in.
Kevin ran over to me and cut the zipties off Jackson's arms and legs.
I picked him up and hugged him, with Kevin wrapping his arms around the both of us.
"Your safe now."
