The jaw that had been so intent on eating us had fallen to the floor, melting into a puddle of flesh. I watched in horror and disgust as the tiny pool of white liquid curled backwards, consuming all of the demon corpses in it's path. It slowly rose upwards, melting into the rest of it's twisted, gnarled body. I was completely frozen, at a loss for words, and a loss for action. What could I do? What do I do? Of course, I have to fight, but how? I gulped nervously, the disgusting lump of white mush, rising into a thin curtain of flesh. The two thing parted, a large white demon with blank head emerging from the thing. "It- It doesn't even have a face..." Norman muttered, completely shocked. "The Queen..." Ray hissed, grabbing the sword Zazie had left in the ground. "She's resurrected!" An eerie laugh started to echo in the room. It came from the thing in front of us. "How wonderful! How great, this world can be! For three premium products from Grace Field to appear right in front of me! Truly, I'm so grateful you haven't died. 81194, 22194, and 70293." It's blank face started to morph revoltingly, almost looking painful. It covered it's head, giggling to itself. "I'm going to eat every single one of you." This... This can't be real, right? It... It was covered in mouths. When I see a face, I imagine eyes, a nose, ears, and a smile. But this demon... All those parts were just mouths. A head covered in wet lips, drooling at the sight of me. In the blink of an eye, the creature grabbed Zazie, the largest jaw on it's chin hovering his neck. I grabbed the pistol on my side, shooting the thing's neck. "Ugh-" It groaned, dropping the boy. Zazie made a quick recovery, grabbing his other blade, and jumping high into the air. The Queen was slashed in half, it's two parts, still laughing maniacally. "How pesky!" It giggled, throwing the boy away. He was sent straight into a wall, both him and the pillar broken. Norman ran to his side, screaming his name. I clicked the barrel, repositioning my shot. Where am I supposed to hit her? She doesn't have an eye. She doesn't have a weakness. Or so I thought. I glanced at Ray, holding Zazie's large steel katana in his hands. He whispered to me, the demon in front of us busy monologuing. "Hey, y/n, stay calm. Every living creature has a weakness. Just think about it." Ray was right. We don't know that this thing doesn't have a core. It could be inside of her, somewhere other than her head, or maybe it was constantly shifting around in her body. God, I liked it better when demons had eyes. But just as quickly as the thing had made it's move on Zazie, it was suddenly upon me, the only thing in my field of vision, an endless ocean of razor sharp teeth and curling wet tongue. My heart jumped out of my chest, my instincts telling me to move, move, move! I closed my eyes. It was too late for me.
"Gah-" A cold wet liquid splashed across my face. I opened my eyes, half expecting to be sitting in the clouds. But right in front of me, a tall gray demon with a long iron sword had cut the queen into pieces. "Sonju!" I shouted, thanking him for saving me. Mujika grabbed my hand, pulling me backwards. "We're sorry we're so late!" She smiled, wiping my cheek. "We've taken care of everything outside, and Don and Gilda are on their way back to the hideout." The purple haired demon's soft smile quickly disappeared, her attention fixed to the regenerating monster in the center of the room. "We must deal with her first, y/n."
Sonju ripped off his cape, staring at the demon ahead of us. His voice was gruff and full of hatred. "Emma, Ray, negotiating with her would be impossible. Anyone else, Bayon the XII, Lord Pupo, even Great Duke Iverk, would have worked fine. Anyone. Anyone but her." The Queen giggled, bringing a hand to her chin. "I thought you'd died, Sonju! It's been years, hasn't it?" He grimaced, tightening his grip on his spear. "Decades, your majesty." She suddenly frowned, her faceless head turning to Mujika. "Well, there's no need to be so formal. You're all here to settle things, correct? Well, so am I. Today I will kill the last Cursed Bloods left on this planet!" She sent a claw at Mujika, which Sonju easily knocked away with the butt of his spear. "Who's going to be killing who?" The monster laughed maniacally, retracting her hand. Somehow, her expression seemed to soften, giving Sonju a hard glare with all of her mouths. "It's such a shame, really. That I have to murder my little brother."
