Leorio pov
(The next day)

Currently I was walking into my college campus. I couldn't stop thinking about how all this time Gon's missing father was one of my teachers.. but soon Gon and Ging would be reunited. I made a plan with Killua yesterday in fact.

So we planned on having me tell Ging to meet me at the beach for a study session. I wouldn't give him any hints of gon being there, because I'm sure he'd bail if we did. So that way we can finally get Gon to meet his dad.

I was desperate to help him. Gon was my friend.. I had to help him.. especially since right now he's having trouble.

I was thinking so hard that I didn't even notice I reached my classroom already. Which I shrugged to and walked in. My first class was with Ging.. so I needed to speak with him before anyone else showed up. Luckily when I went inside nobody was there yet, I was actually pretty early. And at his desk stood Ging Freecss. He honestly was a mess.. his hair was all spiked up, and it looked a lot like Gon's I can definitely see the similarities.. and he had his stubble that he didn't seem to have shaved this morning. Also his clothes seemed pretty worn, he needed a new wardrobe..

I snapped myself out of my thoughts though and went up to him. He must have heard my foot steps and looked over.

"Oh Mr.Leorio, early to class I see.. is there something you need?" He asked with a gruff voice.

I gulped a little and made sure in my brain that I wouldn't mess up.

"Well you see.. I've been having trouble with the material.. and I was hoping maybe we could meet over at the beach and you could help me study? Sorry if it's weird it's just.. the beach has always been my comfort place to do things." I say and tried to keep myself composed.

Ging raised a brow to my question and he sighed.

"Leorio you have a 100 percent in my class... I would think you would be just fine. But alright I'll help you out, but why specifically the beach? I know you said it's your comfort place and all but.. couldn't we just do it here?" Ging asked and he plopped down into his office chair.

I looked away from him before taking a deep breathe. I needed to add another reason..

"Well, I notice that you like the ocean life quite a bit.. so I think you would enjoy it too.. also I wanted to show you something there." I explained to him with my hands in my pockets.

Ging chuckled and he nodded.

"Quite observant of you Mr.Leorio, alright sure. When should this study session be?" He asked and I mentally pumped my fist into the air.

"Well, does next Monday sound good to you?" I asked him and he nodded.

Today was currently a Wednesday. So it would be a couple of days until then. And I think that would be pretty reasonable.

"Sounds good." I paused and remembered I needed to explain Killua's presence, "oh and also I have a younger friend whose in highschool who likes to chill with me there, so don't be surprised when you see him with me." I said.

Ging nodded again with a yawn.

"Alright sounds good to me, now go to your seat will ya.." he said with a tired expression on his face.

I went to my seat as he told me to and I looked over to him slightly. He looked so sad.. and so lonely.. I felt bad that he lost his family. I always wondered how he even survived through it. I would barely keep my sanity.. I guess it means he's a strong man.

I also realized something I never noticed before. On the crook of the mans neck, he had a small tattoo. I almost had to squint to see it. It was a small fish tail.. huh.. clues are everywhere I can see. I looked away quickly though so he wouldn't catch me staring.
